I laid back in bed, flipping through channels since I couldn't go to work today. They had a flash flood emergency warning and told everyone to stay inside for their own safety.

I was kinda glad because I had a tummy ache.

My phone buzzed in my lap, Kirah was FaceTiming me.

"Good morning Tamiiiiii." Her face popped up on my screen.

"What you doing girl?"

"I'm laying my ass in bed enjoying this crappy ass day off. I really don't know what to do, I'm so use to working all the time."

"Mhm." I hummed directing my eyes off her face and onto the TV screen. "I'm hungry as hell too. I want to order DoorDash but they probably don't got nobody driving in this weather."

"Check."

I exited off of FaceTime and went to the DoorDash app. I was craving subway so bad.

"I'm checking," I said. "Most of them are closed off. Only ones open are McDonald's or Jacks." I sighed.

"Man don't nobody want them nasty ass places."

I went back to her, and sat up a bit.

"Well I guess since I'm home I'll do some laundry and clean the bathroom." She said getting up walking around her place. "Talk later?"

"Sure."

"K, bye."

I was about to lock my phone but got a text message.

You home?

Waka and I were kinda difficult at the moment. After I said 'fuck you' at my shop he stopped at my place that night and we talked. I said that because he didn't bring us up, like I thought he would've. He said relationships aren't his thing but he wanted to try it with me.

We got into a few arguments here and there due to him still texting his hoes. He claims it's nothing major or that he's not going over to their house and fucking them, but I can't really trust him.

We've been going out on dates but nothings really changing. He says he's gonna do better but time will tell.

Yes. Can't work today 😫

I'm coming over.

Me:
What about the roads Waka? Don't risk your life to come see me 😒

I locked my phone and quickly got up. I went to go brush my teeth and wash my face, then take a nice hot shower. I shaved my legs, cleaned my body, exfoliated which is something I try to do often.

I dried off, then put on navy blue sweat pants along with a navy blue long sleeved bodysuit.

I turned the TV off in my room then went to the kitchen.

"Come here Nove." He ran over to me and I picked him up.

I rubbed his head while I opened the fridge taking out a pack of chicken breast I had. I grabbed the stuff I use to make my signature salad, along with a bag of rolls in the freezer.
