Chapter 2, Hope its ok. Please comment, give me advise, anything. Enjoy.
****Austin’s Point of View****
“Hey sexy” Steph whispered into my ear, just before taking my earlobe in between her teeth.
I wasn’t going to do this again.
“Steph I told you last night, we’re over. You can’t just make out with some perv you met at a party and expect me to take you back in with open arms, again.” Pushing her off me and looking into her chocolate brown eyes.
“Babe, you know it didn’t mean anything, it was just a kiss, and you’re the one I love” she told me in that seductive tone I used to fall for, every time.
The thing is this wasn’t the first time this has happened. Steph and me were defiantly an off and on thing. The crazy thing is it’s not that we love each other. We were attracted to each other, yes, but we only dated because it was what was expected. I’m the quarter back, she is the head cheerleader, it’s what people think is right, so it’s what we do.
“No, Steph, you don’t love me. I’m not doing this anymore. You made your choice, and I am making mine. So please, before I make you, get off me and go flirt with some other idiot.”
Stunned, she took a step back from me
“Austin, you don’t want to do this, not to me.” Her voice hardening
“No, Steph listen. I do. I know what I’m doing. It’s over, for good!”
“Fine Austin, have it your way. But don’t come crawling back to me! If you do this, we will NEVER get back together!”
Now Steph was yelling, God she can be dramatic
“Okay, sounds good”
Turning on my heels, I walked away and headed towards my friends, who were waiting outside of our first class.
“Damn bro, what was that about?”
Jason, my best friend could be a real dick sometimes. Of course he knew what just happened. It has happened before, but this time it was seriously over. I was so done with having to deal with Steph’s stupid drama.
“Dude, don’t be an ass, you know what just happened. I ended it, for good.”
“Ha-ha. Don’t make me laugh man; you know it isn’t over for good and so does everyone else. You two can’t stay away from each other for longer than a week.”
“No joke, I’m done”
“Wanna bet on that? I give it two weeks, just to be safe, and if I win, you do my homework for a week!”
“You’re so on.” We bumped fists and started talking to the other guys about the big game we had in two weeks. Three of us had a scout or two coming; I had one coming from UCLA and a school in Dallas, so it was a big deal for me and more for my dad.
Once the first bell rang, we all began to fill the class. I was preparing to space out, because who pays attention in English?! Mr Smithswork walked in with a pile of books and papers, which would probably be homework, yay!
Just as he started lecturing us on one of Shakespeare’s so-called timeless plays, someone caught my eye. She has long blong hair wich was in a high pigtale and over her shoulder. She gave Mr Smithswork he paper and turned to look for an empty seat, which fortunately was right by my side!

****Charlie’s Point of View****
New house. New School. I had the weekend to get settled in and set up my new room and get ready for school on today.
I drove myself and got there just before the bell rang. I walked myself to the office to hand in the final paperwork and get my schedule. The lady behind the desk seemed sweet. She had cute white hair, all done up in a bun type thing. She had glasses which just made her even more adorable. After she handed me my schedule, she pointed me to my first class, which thankfully was English.
I walked into the room, and as always I got stares and the soft whisper that happens when you’re new. I handed my teacher, whose name was Mr Smithswork, my slip from the office and took the only seat available, which was next to an incredibly handsome blond. His head was down so I couldn’t see his eyes, damn. I took my seat, got out my book and make myself comfortable.
I got a shiver as a hand touched my arm and whispered in my ear
“The name is Austin, where are you from?”
I turned and looked into his eyes, which were a deep green. Those eyes were worthy of worship. Now I had been to a lot of places, a lot a schools and I have never ever seen eyes like that!
“I’m from all over the place. Here, there and everywhere.” I couldn’t help but smirk as his eyes studied me.
“What’s your name?”
“My name? Charlie, Charlie Taylor”
“Well miss Taylor-”
“Mr Fisher, Miss Taylor, do I need to ask you to leave?” Mr Smithswork interrupted our little conversation
“No sir, was just introducing myself to this lovely lady, please continue.”
Lovely? He thinks I’m lovely. I couldn’t help but blush at that. I heard Austin chuckle under his breath as soon as the teacher turned and faced the board again. We glanced at each other a few times throughout the class, but otherwise stayed quiet. When the bell rang, I got my stuff and left. I needed to go find some friends and although Austin had spoken to me, I probably wouldn’t get a second glance. Why would I? I’m plain. He is probably the hottest guy in I have ever seen, let alone the hottest guy in this school.
The day passed by easily, I met a girl in my bio class named Laura and she invited me to lunch. She sat with a group of about 5 people; Herself, Chad (who I suspect is her boyfriend), Lucy, Mike and Craig. They seemed nice and we all got along well, so I’m guessing I have found my group.
The only downside to my day was that I couldn’t get Austin out of my mind! Was he flirting with me? Arghh, guess only time will tell.
Please comment, vote, tell me what you think, what i need to work on.
Sorry if it seems slow, but I have a plan, so stick with me.
Thanks Megan xo
