Day 2 at this school and finding my classes is no easier. I stared at the timetable on my phone, squinting at the small words on the picture of the paper. Chemistry.

After a confusing walk around the school, I walked into the classroom. Luckily I wasn't late, but everyone had already taken their seats. The only spot for me was a desk right at the back of the classroom, at the same table was a boy I hadn't seen before but he looked okay. I made my way to the back of the classroom and sat down.

The Boy gave me an awkward smile and turned back to looking at the front of the class, he had really nice brown curly hair and I couldn't help but stare at it. My gaze was broken when the boy turned to look at me again, his brown eyes reflecting off of my e/c eyes.
"Hi" I waved.  "I'm y/n"
the boy gave a confused. "Um... i-im Peter" he turned back to the front again.
did he not want to talk to me?
"Okay class, your lab partner is going to be the person you are sitting next to, you will be lab partners for the rest of the year, no changes"
great, I'm stuck with grumpy over here for the whole year.

The lunch bell went and I started making my way to the spot where I ate my lunch yesterday, the bathroom. It's not the greatest, but when you have no friends to eat with, it's all you have. I picked up my sandwich and began to eat while I thought  about that peter. Why didn't he want to talk to me? Why was he so uncomfortable and nervous? A shiver ran down my spine, what if he knows something about me, what if he's a spy and he's going to hurt me. I pushed these worries down, he's probably just an awkward person.

Like yesterday, school was really boring, as I walked down the halls of the school, making my way out, I spotted the all so familiar brown haired boy walking past me. I gave him a small wave, and was met with an awkward stare and no eye contact, wow, he's nice. I walked out of the school gates but I didn't want to go home, I didn't want to lie to my dad and tell him that I had a good day. An Idea popped into my head and I hopped onto the nearest bus and sat down next to an old lady.

After an hour of the bus ride I had finally made it to where I wanted to go. I hopped off and walked towards the beach, the sand squishing in-between my toes. I let out a long sigh as I sat down on the cool sand, watching how the sunset and the ocean merged together, bringing peace to my mind. Momentarily.
