My city is polluted
Of wastes, of lies
Of hatred, of poisons
Of unspeakable things
That mankind can do

My city is inhabitable
Yet everyone seeks refuge in this city
Hoping that they would find a chance,
a second chance, or one last chance
But forever, it will remain so
Forever will it remain a false hope

My city is so polluted that there's only one star every night in the sky
Alone, in the dark and gloomy night
With no companion, wherever you lay sight

But then you came to my city
You came and change everything
You brought hope to this city and me
Now there's another star, shining
So bright it blinds my own sight

You've brought a meaning to my city
