Nozomi, Keki, and Hana sleep the whole night in this unknown world they were now without any idea what time it was or where they where. When the morning arrived they all woke up and decided to walk to see if they could find water and food. They walk for 2 hours and they were exhausting until they reach some sort people.
"Hey guys, there seem to be people up ahead." Said Nozomi being really tired.
"If we don't eat soon in gonna die!" Keki responded while his stomach was growling.
"Yeah, I'm pretty hungry and thirsty as well." Said Hana while falling on her knees.
As they got closer they saw that what they thought was people, well let's say they were not fully human. They were half human-like and have horse-like.
"A group of centaurs? Can we eat them? Does it taste good?" Said Keki being really hungry.
Nozomi and Hana looked at him with a face that literally said: "Really Keki?" Nozomi approach the centaurs and they sort of fall back being frightening. One of them took out his bow and arrow and point it at Nozomi.
"What do you want human?" Said the centaur with a serious tone.
"It's an alright centaur, I'm not here to hurt you," Nozomi responded while raising her hands.
"Lies! You, humans, want to kill our species for your diabolical desires." The centaur responded angrily.
"No, wait! It's true we came here not knowing where we are. We are just trying to get water and food." Nozomi responded while retrieving with her hands up.
"If that's true then what's that mark in your hand? It seems to me you are a witch!" The centaur responded angrier than before.
Nozomi didn't realize that she had a mark on her right palm in the form of a feather.
"What the... What's this?" Nozomi asked herself.
"Stop the act, you filthy human." Said the centaur while shooting his arrow to Nozomi.
Keki in that instant move as super speed and grabbed and broke the arrow in half with his left hand.
"What!? Impossible!" Said the centaur in shock of what just happened.
"Listen here centaurs, all of you are in the presence of the Stargazer." Said Keki
"Stargazer?" The centaur started to mumble to themselves.
"Keki you don't have to be so mean to them. It's okay, let's just look somewhere else." Said Nozomi.
"Wait!" Said the centaur
"Yes?" Nozomi responded with a smile.
"Forgive my rudeness, I'm really sorry." Said the centaur apologizing.
"It's ok, it's a normal reaction when a total stranger appears out of the blue. I imagine that you have gone through so much with humans." Nozomi responded.
"My name is Rentaro Nanami. I am the leader of this pack of centaurs."
The centaurs open up to them and give than food and water. Rentaro told them they were in the year 300 hundred and this word was filled with humans and creatures. Humans used the power of magic given by the universe of God. Humans use magic to kill others and hunt creatures for fame and glory.
"That's horrible." Said Nozomi after listening to Rentaro.
"Humans are greedy, they only think of what's best for themselves." Said Keki while eating an apple.
"That's really horrible, we the Phoenix live away from other creatures so we don't know much about others." Said, Hana
"Humans are getting worse and worse over the years. We are the last our kind." Said Rentaro with a sad expression.
