'Come here, Rhaella. You too, Aegon. You two need to take care of yourself. And you, Rhaella, you shall be queen here.' My mother said. 'I do not want to be queen. Can Aegon become king instead?' I asked her. I was trying very hard to hold back my tears. 'No my sweet dragon, boys can't rule over Asshai. You know that, Asshai is the opposite of the rest of the known world.' She said. 'Remember my gift, Rhaella. Have you named her yet?' My mother asked. I never thought of a name, the only name I knew was Visenya, the name of my mother. 'No. Do you know one?' I asked her. 'Well, I have told you about our family, right? You could call her Daenerys. The first woman who reigned here in Asshai. What do you say about that, my sweet dragon?' She asked. I nodded yes. Daenerys, that seemed like a powerful, yet sweet name. 'Aegon, take care of your younger sister. She shall need your guidance. Rhaella, do not think that you always need to be in Asshai. You can travel the world. If it becomes too hard for you here, you can go to Qarth. That's the closest city near Asshai.' My mother told. We were escorted away after we said goodbye. The morning after I heard she died in her sleep, I didn't attend her funeral. I was too scared to see her body again. I only could think of my dragon, the last thing she gave me.
'My sweet dragon.' I whispered. 'You didn't deserve to die, mother. Not in that way, not on that age.' I said to myself, hoping my mother would here it. Wherever she is. 'Did you say something, Rhaella? It sounded sad.' Daario said. 'I was thinking about my mother, about Asshai.' I said to him. 'You never talked about that. Is your mother alright?' He asked. 'No. She died six years ago. She gave me the courage to travel. First to Qarth, she said. That is the closest. She is the reason I named my dragon Daenerys. She said that that was a name she would choose.' I told him. 'I feel so bad that I didn't attend her funeral, I just couldn't do that. Now I regret that every single day of my life.' I said, crying. Daario hugged and comforted me. 'I know that that must be painful. But you told me something when I heard about Dany. Think about the good moments you shared together. I think that was quite a good advice, don't you think?' Daario said. He gave me a kiss and dressed himself. 'I hope we will find Drogon today. Maybe he saw you and thinks you're the second version of Dany.' He said. 'I am not a second version of Dany. I am Rhaella Targaryen. Queen of Asshai and the shadowlands. Not Daenerys stormborn of house Targaryen, or the mother of dragons or breaker of chains or queen of Westeros.' I said to him. He gave me a smile and left the room. I was thinking about Dany, what if she could be resurrected? I heard some people in Asshai can do that. The only problem was that they are priests of the Lord of Light. Hopefully, other people can say a spell as well. I dressed myself, and grabbed my sword.
Daario and I practiced swordfighting. 'You are almost better than me. How is that possible?' He asked. I just responded with a simple answer 'I have the swift moves of the art of water dancing. An art only the first swords of Braavos know.' We went on practicing. Until we heard a scream from the sky. Everyone on the ship was terrified. I knew that sound, that is Drogon. He came from the place he flew to last time. We thought he went to the place he came from the last time. But I was wrong, he turned back to us and came down. He wanted to land on the ship. Instead, he landed just before the ship, in the river. 'Hide everyone! That beast will eat us!' The captain said. I was standing there, amazed by how big he was in real life. 'Hello, Drogon. My name is Rhaella, I am family of Dany, your mother. Do you have her with you? I would be glad if I could see her.' I said to Drogon. Daario looked at me like I was being weird. Who talks to a dragon? It was very odd, but Drogon listened to me. Maybe he knows I am a Targaryen. He picked up Dany and let her lie on the ship. I heard his sound, it sounded like mourning. Daario almost teared up by seeing Dany. 'Good job, Drogon. You don't have to fear me.' I told him. Drogon came closer and sniffed, I calmly touched his skin. He felt the same as Daenerys to me. I looked at Dany lying on the ship and touched her skin. 'How is this possible? She should be rotting by now. It feels like she just died a minute ago.' I said to Daario. 'Maybe she has a purpose, maybe she needs to live.' Daario said. 'Do you remember that weird priestess, Kinvara? She told that she is the high priestess of the Red Temple in Volantis, right? I heard that they can resurrect people there. Maybe we should go to Volantis, we have a chance to resurrect her. If it doesn't work, we can take her to Meereen, and bury her beneath the pyramid.' I told Daario. He seemed hopeful. 'Yes, we can take that chance. I would do everything to let Dany live again.' Daario said. 'And you Drogon? Will you come with us? We will try to wake up your mother. I guess you want to be there in Volantis when your mother opens her eyes, don't you?' I asked Drogon. Drogon seemed to think, he made a happy sound. I guess that means yes. 'Well then. Daario, get the captain back here. We will set sail to Volantis. My brother doesn't have to know it. He doesn't know how long we would be here.' I told. Daario walked away to find the captain. Now we shall sail more west then I could ever think of. Volantis.
When we were sailing for an hour. I went to the place Daenerys was. She was very happy to see me. 'Do you want to meet someone of your kind? I know you never could, but now we have Drogon.' I told her. She made happy sounds and I released her. I opened the door and she went outside. She flew high into the sky, and flew with Drogon. They seemed to like each other. Only Daenerys looked like a direwolf next to a whale. 'They are doing pretty well, I think. Drogon never knew other dragons, but his brothers. That's something else than a dragon who you never met.' Daario told. 'Did Dany ever know her parents?' I asked him. He said that her mother died in childbirth, and that her father was stabbed through the back by one of his knights. Daario told they called her father the Mad King, because he burned people for fun. 'How can people do such things? I can never understand murderers like that.' I said to him. 'You must be glad that I don't kill for fun, but sometimes killing can be fun when you kill your enemies. Just like you're fighting in a fighting pit? Ever seen that?' Daario asked. 'I always feel guilty when I kill. Just like in New Ghis, when I ordered Daenerys to kill the Sons of the Harpy. And, no. I've never seen a fighting pit before, they do not have such thing in Asshai or Qarth.' I told him. He told he didn't know that. He explained that a fighting pit is for fighters, they fight for the leader of that city. It is winning or dying, there is no middle ground. It reminded me of one of my dreams, when a blonde woman said something familiar. 'When shall we arrive in Volantis, captain?' Daario asked. 'We shall be at the shore of Volantis at sunrise I think, if we have the right side of the wind. Otherwise we will be there at midday.' The captain said. Only a day away, I thought. Only a day away to have the chance to resurrect Dany. And many more stuff.
A/N: Resurrecting Dany? That would be awesome! It was one of the first fan theories I saw online after season 8, and I felt that that just needed to happen. Drogon also accompanies us now. Isn't that cool?
