'Yes good, Rhaella. Very good. Relax your arm, and hold it with only one hand. Water dancing only needs one hand. Do not strike hard, girl. You need to find your balance. Yes, perfect.' Syrio said. My lessons were going better and better. I was glad of that. I wanted to protect myself, like the time in the streets of Meereen, or in the palace of the Masters. 'Can I ask one thing, Syrio? Are you good with a bow and arrow? I want to become an archer as well.' I asked him. In Essos, nobody could handle a bow and arrow. People say it's meant for weak persons, cripples. 'No girl, but I know some things about that. They're the basics but, I can teach you those to you. We miss only one thing. A bow and some arrows.' Syrio said. Of course, that's the most important. 'I can make one. I don't know exactly how to do that. Maybe someone can help me with that. I'm not scared to make my hands dirty, like the common people.' I told him. We went on practicing, before I was going to the ships. 'Are you coming with us to Valyria, then we can practice on the ship.' I asked Syrio. He only responded with 'We shall see, A man has nothing to seek for in Valyria. The only thing that is there is doom. I wish you good fortune, Rhaella. One important thing, you shall not die.' He said. I smiled and said goodbye to Syrio Forel. 'Until we meet in Meereen.' I said. 'Until we meet in Meereen, indeed.'
'Are you ready, Daario. You seem a bit feared. I never saw a Second Son being afraid.' I told him when I arrived at the ship. 'I don't think it's weird to be afraid of the place where the doom was. Nobody in the world wants to sail there.' He said. 'Everyone is afraid, because of the doom. What if that never happened. Would you be afraid of that it it never happened?' I asked. I never understood why so many people were afraid of Valyria. It's just a ruined city, no more. 'They sent the people with greyscale there. If they touch you, you will get it too. Nothing is worse than dying in your head and skin while you're still living. Nobody wants that.' Daario told. 'Indeed, stone men are dangerous. But they don't live in all of Valyria. You can fight people without touching them.' I said to him. He seemed uncertain about that. 'Captain, prepare to set sail!' Daario shouted. 'To where, Daario Naharis?' The captain asked. 'Don't you know where your own ship goes? Not really good, huh? We set sail to Valyria and the smoking sea.' Daario shouted. After a few hours, I went to my cabin to practice my with my sword. 'Why are you practicing now? I'm certain you do not need to use your sword on this ship.' Daario said. I was scared by his voice, I didn't hear him coming. 'You don't need to be scared. It's just me.' Daario said. I put my sword away and I approached him. 'Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to lead the people on the ship?' I asked him. He came closer to me 'No. I just wanted to see you. Tell me, Rhaella. Are you and your brother in love? Like the Targaryens always had, the incest?' He asked. 'No, Aegon wanted that. But I never wanted that. I told him so. I want a normal relationship, not an incestious one.' I said. Daario came closer, and closer. 'Good. Do you have someone that you love in the relationship way?' Daario asked. 'I don't know that. Maybe I do.' I said to him. 'Well, I have someone that I love too. If I may, my Lady.' Daario told. He touched my face with his hand and touched my hair. He leaned into me and touched my lips. 'Is that okay, Rhaella?' He asked. He didn't want me to feel uncomfortable. 'Yes, That is okay. Maybe I love you in that way, I still don't know.' I told him. 'Shall we find out, then?' Daario told. He came close again, and we kissed. We fell onto the bed. 'I don't know how. I never did this before.' I told him. 'Really? Well then, I'm honored to be the first.' He took off my clothes, slowly. Then he did his, I was too nervous to do anything. Then it started. 'Do I hurt you, Rhaella?' 'No, not at all.' I told him and we continued.
I woke up the next day. Daario was lying next to me and then I remembered the night before, it felt so good and right. I dressed myself and went to the captain. When I looked at the sea, I saw smoke coming from it. We are finally in Valyria. 'Where is the safest place we can go to the land?' I asked. The captain told we should never do that, or I wanted to die. Below deck I heard the screams of my dragon. Maybe she sensed something. I looked in the sky and saw a very large shadow. 'Everyone hide! Go below now!' The people said. When the shadow came closer, I saw it was a dragon. 'Daario! Come look! It's Drogon!' I shouted. I saw Daario running to me. He looked into the sky and saw Drogon. 'He has something white or silver in his claw. Do you know what that is, Rhaella?' Daario asked me. 'Yes. I think that that is Dany. He takes her everywhere. He doesn't want to lose her again.' I told Daario. He seemed sad about that. 'I think he came from the place where he sleeps, we should go there. That seems for the best. Drogon trusts you, so he won't kill us. I hope.' I told him. He agreed and told the captain to sail north. We saw lots of ruined buildings. 'This is where I was supposed to live, I wonder how it looked like. Before the doom.' I said to Daario. I looked around me, very tall buildings. High in the sky. I cannot imagine to live here. It would be a dream to live here. 'Daario Naharis. My Lady. I am afraid I cannot sail further, it's too dangerous. We can stop here and wait for the dragon, or you can walk. That will be very, very dangerous. Only of the stone men and animals speaking.' The captain told. 'We can stay here, until Drogon comes again. We can see where he will land, sort of. Then we can go and walk there.' I said to Daario. 'Can you fly? That would be better. Dany did that to in a fighting pit once.' Daario said to me. 'Wait. You mean flying on Daenerys? How should I be able to climb on her? She is much taller than I am.' I told him. 'Just climb on the wings, then on the back and hold on to something. Seems pretty easy, right?' Daario said. It only sounded easy. 'Captain! Shouldn't we go below deck? There are stone men here, right?' I shouted. Then I heard some people screaming, when I turned. I saw people with skin like stones. That's why they are called stone men. 'Do not touch them! You can become like that when you touch them!' Someone shouted. I went to the cabin and grabbed my sword. One of the stone men was with me. I remembered my lessons with Syrio. Relax your arm, and hold it with only one hand. Water dancing only needs one hand. Do not strike hard, you need to find your balance. That's all he told me last lesson. I did what he said back then. I stabbed the stone man in his chest. He tried to touch me, but he couldn't since I was too far away. He was on the ground dying. I went to look for the other people. All the others were dead as well. 'Was that every men?' Daario asked. 'I guess so. I just stabbed one in the chest, maybe his heart. I don't hear anyone so. I guess that was everyone.' I told Daario.
'Is this good? I don't know if this bow is strong enough.' I said. Apparently, Daario once had a bow that he made himself. 'Yes, it's better than the ones I always made. We should try it. I can find some arrows on this ship, probably.' He told me. After a short time he came to me. 'Look, I found some. You can shoot anywhere you want, except for people.' He told. We both laughed. 'Shall I try to hit that duck walking there? Is that hard?' I asked. I didn't know how hard it was to shoot an arrow. 'Well, you can try. But I don't think you can shoot a walking object.' Daario told me. I put the arrow on the bow and tried to shoot. After two times, I still didn't hit the duck. 'You have only one arrow left. We should keep that one for later.' Daario said. 'No, I want to try it for one time more.' I told him. I took a deep breath and pointed to the duck. I released the arrow, and he didn't miss. The arrow went straight through the duck. 'I have to say, Rhaella. For a beginner, this is very well done. Good job.' Daario said to me. Some of the people on the ship grabbed the duck and the missed arrows and ran back to the ship. I guess they don't want to be on the ground for too long. 'Maybe it was a lucky shot. I can practice with these arrows, since they never hit anything.' I told him. I was wondering when Drogon would fly over. He has been gone the whole day and he didn't return. Maybe he had two places where he slept.
Drogon
He flew over Valyria, wondering where he could sleep with his mommy. Earlier this day, he saw a ship. Not like the ones he burned in King's Landing, but like the ones in Meereen. He knew those ships. When he looked at the ships, he saw a girl. She looked like mommy, he thought. He also saw Daario Naharis. Are they looking for me? Or do they want me dead, like Jon Snow did with mommy?
A/N: I wanted to have the reaction of Rhaella and Daario to Drogon, and now I finally have that. I always felt a bit of romance between Rhaella and Daario, and I felt that I should bring that out in this chapter. There will be more of it, of course. I also wanted to write in Drogon's perspective again. Now you see what he thinks about the ship in Valyria. I wonder how you think about what will happen next chapter.
