After the long pool poses and them realising he wasn't coming back again any time soon we finally went back in the house. Boy was I fed up. I asked Dani we start the assignment while the girls watch the movies they downloaded online.

We were halfway done but now tired so we took a break and made food. "where are your parents again?" I asked.

She sighed. "business trip."

"my dad too but he promised me a fun trip when he gets back." I smiled.

"I wish my parents cared about my feelings like that" she frowned.

"they don't?" I asked then regretted it. I was being too nosey.

"business business business all the damn time. I just want some fun time. Family time with them. I'm not shocked Dave is so damn rude and nonchalant because he was raised to take care of himself and not care about anyone else but him I'm not trying to diss my family but I wish my parents were here more rather than just giving out money."

I looked at her surprised she would air out her family business like that. It's like she was waiting for someone to ask her to express her feelings and just like a waterfall it flowed out. "have you tried talking to them?"

"they're probably too busy anyway to give a flying fuck" she said I could feel her being hurt when she said that.

I smiled awkwardly. Don't get me wrong, I like Dani but we just met and already she's telling me her family business. That just seems too weird for me.

At least fully trust someone first before talking like that. She must really be in need for a friend shame. "how about you hang out with me whenever you feel lonely? I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun" I said.

She smiled brightly "really?"

"yes. You're a good girl and I would love hanging out with you more." I smiled too.

"okay! I'd love that too."

"now let's go finish off that assignment." I chuckled.

As we were walking by, I heard noises in the lounge. Dani went to go check by there, I even heard her laugh so I went in too and immediately smiled when I saw Bash. He got up and gave me a hug. "Broski."

"hey you. Where have you been hiding?" He asked after the hug.

"in my school work." I sighed.

"oh Dani is in your school. Almost forgot." He said.

"yeah we're friends." I smiled looking at her.

"I'm glad maybe she can also help me stop making you and Dave bicker like cats and dogs." He said I rolled my eyes immediately after that.

"and that's my que to head out. Let's go finish the assignment Dani."

"and now?" He laughed.

"just decided to ignore stuff that aren't worth my time. I'm much better than that." I said truthfully.  Dave laughed the loudest. See? Trying to get under my skin. But I'm just gonna ignore him.

I don't need him creating wrinkles in my perfect face. I am not one of his girls that will stress about what he does or says to me.

I shall not let him affect me that way. Me and Dani left and went to go finish off the assignment, when we were finally done at night I was happy to be finally done with everything that involved school work and finally enjoy my weekend.
