"okay, from the top, five, six, seven, eigh-, JISOO"
jisoo quickly threw her phone into her bag and got back into her position.
"sorry, it was a message from mrs. lee" jisoo said, and lisa nodded, forgiving her this time.
they did their dance routine to 'i got you' by bebe rexha for another hour, making them practice for three hours.
"now team, it's important we get this right, on friday we are have our last chance to get into the finals, and we need to win" lisa said, trying to pep talk the girls. "if we win, will you treat us for chicken nuggets?" soojin asked, and seungyeon slightly pushed her shoulder. "maybe, if you are lucky" lisa said and soojin high fives sua.
after the girls left, jisoo checked her phone. 5pm, she still had time to go to the orphanage.
"i wish i could go with you, but my cousin bambam is visiting us this week, so i gotta hang out with him" lisa said and picked up her bag. "it's okay, i just hope hannie is calm and not a crying mess" jisoo said, hugging her best friend before walking away. "give your baby a kiss from me" lisa shouted before the door closed.
"ji-ji is here" a girl shouted when jisoo came into the quite small orphanage. "hi somin" she said as she placed down her bag, ruffling the young girls hair.
somin grabbed jisoo's hand and dragged her to the kitchen area.
"hi jisoo, great to see you" mrs. lee gave her a big smile. "hello, is there anything i can do?" jisoo asked, seeing that the older woman looked quite stressed. "well, yohan has been calm the past days, so he's sleeping, but luna is being a little moody right now, can you check on her?" mrs.lee asked and jisoo nodded, replying with an 'of course'. "she's on floor two, probably in the playroom" mrs.lee said, picking up somin so jisoo could go there by herself.
she walked up the stairs and searched through the pretty empty playroom.
"luna?" jisoo said, and a quiet hum could be heard from behind a blue couch.
jisoo walked to the couch, and looked over, finding the small three year old hugging her puppy plushie tightly. the girl looked up, her eyes were glossy and she was pouting.
"what is it baby?" jisoo asked and picked the girl up, putting her down in her lap, rocking slightly from side to side. "i want a mommy" she said, drying her eyes with her small fists. the girl continued crying, wrapping her arms around jisoo's neck, hugging the older female.
jisoo caressed luna's head, kissing her temple. she was about to say something, until she felt the girl's arms loosen around her neck and heavier breathing against her neck. jisoo smiles slightly, standing up, still holding the girl. she went into the sleeping room, and puts the girl into her assigned bed, tucking her in.
"ji-ji, are you here?" jisoo turned around and saw a boy sitting up in his bed, yawning. "hi minki, did you sleep well?" she asked in a low tone, so that the other kids in the room would wake up. "i'm still sleepy" the four year old boy said, laying back down. jisoo tucked him in as well, and he smiled.
jisoo walked out and into the kitchen again.
"the kids really love you" mrs.lee said.
jisoo smiled.
"i love them too" jisoo said, taking a cookie from a jar.
"miss jennie, your mother wishes to speak to you" a servant at the kim's resident said, after she had knocked on the door. "okay, thank you" jennie said and gave her a smile, walking into her parents room.
"mother, you wanted to speak to me?" jennie said, sitting down on their bed, her body facing her mother that sat in front of her makeup-mirror.
jennie's mother turned around.
"i don't want you to talk to seungcheol anymore" she said, and jennie furrowed her eyebrows. "but? i've been friend with him since i was a kid" jennie said, and her mother gave her a smile. "well, he's not the same as he used to be, so don't hang out with him" she said, before turning around again. "but mother-" "that's final jennie, now you can go back to your room" her mother said and jennie groaned, walking back into her room with her arms crossed.
