the dance team had done good in the competition, they just hoped their luck would stay with them and that they were going to the final 'round'.
"and now, the last finalist is.."
lisa and jisoo held their breath standing closely, trying to calm each other down.
"the girls from Seoul Creative Public School"
lisa and jisoo shouted and hugged each other, and then hugging the other girls.
they cheered and smiled, bowing to the judges before running into the dressing room.
"good job girls, now, let's celebrate, any suggestions?" lisa asked. "there's a party at jackson's house, he invited me and told me to bring all of you" momo said and all of them agreed.
"great, let's get this party" kyulkyung shouted and we all laughed. "LET'S GET DRUNK" soojin shouted and lisa put her in a headlock.
"you invited the dance girls?" jennie asked jackson, a disgusted facial expression forming on her face. "yes, and if one of you starts fighting, i'm locking you inside the bathroom after sungjae has taken a shit there" jackson threatens.
sungjae throws a jell-o shot on him and gave him a glare.
"no jokes dude, what do you eat to get that smell?" jackson asks, slightly amazed. "top secret, but it has to do with leek soup" sungjae says and continues fixing jell-o shots.
jennie rolled her eyes before looking at the time.
"it's already 8 pm" she stated. "the party starts at 10pm" jackson states back. "then why am i here?" jennie asks. "cause you are a loser and don't have anything else to do" jackson answers and earns a slap on the shoulder, and at the same time, seungkwan walked into the house.
he fell down on the couch with a sigh.
"what's up bro?" jackson asked, and gave his friend a concerned look. "my neighbour started to slam on the wall between our apartments yesterday, it was 3 in the morning" seungkwan says, and jackson raises his eyebrow. "that sucks" jennie said, not really listening. "yeah, fortunately, i was awake and practiced my bagpipe, so i didn't wake up because of that" seungkwan says and sungjae chocked on a jell-o shot. jennie tried not to laugh, finding the situation way more funny than it actually was.
jackson got a text and smiled brightly after he read it.
"the dancer got to the final" he said loudly so everyone heard.
they all cheered.
"yay, they final got some recognition" jennie said sarcastically and jackson sighed. "sungjae, you know what to do" he said. "got it" sungjae answered and walked towards the bathroom.
"NO WAIT IT WAS A JOKE"
it was 11pm when jisoo, lisa and soojin arrived to jackson's party, and it was really crowded.
"how are we ever going to find the others in this mess?" jisoo asked and looked around. "i don't know, but i want drinks" soojin said and walked into the kitchen, leaving the two other girls in the hall.
"JISOO"
jisoo immediately recognised the voice, and turned around to be met by taehyung.
"hi tae- oh, nice hickeys" she said with a smirk, noticing the purple-red marks on his neck. "shut up and get a drink, lalisaaaa, let's get you some jell-o shots" taehyung said and grabbed lisa's hand, leading her to the kitchen.
jisoo chuckles and follows them, grabbing a red cup.
"can i suggest a drink for you?"
jisoo turned around and smiled at the blonde male.
"yeah, sure" she said and he nodded. "mango or watermelon flavour?" he asked. "not mango, watermelon please" she said and he nodded.
he poured the drink and gave the cup back to her.
"thanks, hey, you are jeonghan, right?" the male nodded. "congrats on your engagement" jisoo said with a smile. "thank you, and congratulations to getting into the finals" he said and jisoo smiled, taking a sip of the drink.
she widen her eyes at the amazing flavour.
"this is the best drink i've ever had" she said and jeonghan chuckles, ruffling her hair. "i gotta go, see you later" he said and jisoo nodded. she continued drinking the beverage, really enjoying the taste.
across from the kitchen, jennie stood and let her eyes wonder over the crowded living room, searching for her boyfriend that was somewhere.
"what's up?" sooyoung asked her. "have you seen jongin?" jennie asked and sooyoung nodded. "i just spoke to him, he walked upstairs" sooyoung says and takes her 5th jell-o shot. "be careful with those" jennie said, remembering that henry told her that they were pretty strong.
sooyoung shrugged and walked into the kitchen again, jennie sighed.
she started to walk to the stairs, trying to not stumble on anyone in her way. the stairs were not that crowded, then again, drunk people shouldn't be on the stairs.
jackson's house was big, with a lot of bedrooms. jennie guesses that jongin was in one of them, because she knew he became very tired after just one drink.
she decided to open one of the doors.
"oh sorry didn't-" she stopped herself when she saw a guy and another guy kissing, and her breath hitches when the taller boy turns around.
a crack could be heard, well not really, only jennie could hear it. her eyes became glossy and she started to shake.
not closing the door, she ran into the bathroom, feeling out of breath. she locked the door and sat down on the floor, tears streaming down her face. she felt like screaming and breaking things. but the only thing she did was cry.
"w-why d-d-does my h-he-heart hur-t-t" she whimpered to herself.
she knew the answer already, yet she didn't want to believe it.
