"okay girls, since indoors football season starts pretty soon, we need to start practicing more regularly" jennie said as she stood in front of the cheerleading-squad that consisted of eight girls. chaeyoung, nayoung, dahyun, shuhua, lua, doyeon, sooyoung and jennie herself.

jennie showed them the new cheering routine, and they all practiced it for the first time.

"dahyun darling, a little bit more to the left" jennie said and dahyun did as she was told.

jennie was about to say something, but a voice behind her cut her off.

"JENNIEEEE"

before she could turn around to see who it was, two strong arms lifted her up and spun her around.

jennie started to hit the persons arms, and she could hear the familiar laugh behind her.

"JACKSON PUT ME DOWN" she shouted while laughing, trying her best to sound mad at the boy.

jackson put the girl down and she turned around to look at him.

"you scared me you brat" she said and lightly slapped his arm.
jackson laughed and ruffled her hair.

they small talked for about a minute before jungkook, one of the team players, walked towards them.

"dude, we gotta start practice now" he said and gave jennie a nod and a smile.
"yeah, see you later jennie" jackson said, and started to walk to the field.
"wait- jackson!" jennie shouted and he turned around.
"where's jongin?" she asked, and jackson shrugged.
"he hasn't showed up to practice for the last three times" the boy answered, and continued walking.

jennie stood still for a moment, but? what else could he be doing? she thought to herself.

jennie shook the thoughts away, and turned back to the cheer squad, and they continued practicing.

-

after about an hour of practicing, jennie decided to give the girls a ten minute break.

"oh? are the cheerleaders tired of all the shouting the need to do?"

jennie felt her blood boil by the voice only, it was the most annoying she had ever heard in her whole entire life.

"well, jisoo," jennie turned around and faced the purple haired girl, "comparing to the dance team, we actually need and have strategy and perfection that needs to be practiced" jennie said and gave jisoo a sweet smile.

jisoo chuckled and rested her head on her palm, still looking at jennie.

"shouting 'go tigers' can't be that hard" she said and gave jennie a smirk, as she noticed that the girl was getting more and more annoyed by her presence.

jennie was mumbling different curse words, but tried to calm herself down instead of shouting.

"what are you doing here anyways? are you even aloud here?" jennie asked, and jisoo sat down on the bleacher.
"well, jennie, if you haven't forgotten, my cousin is one of the team players" jisoo answered and pointed at kim doyoung, who just scored.

jennie rolled her eyes, and looked back at her cheerleading team.

"girls!" she shouted and all of them looked at her.
"let's show this dancer that we rule this school" jennie said, and smirked.

jisoo has heard what jennie said, and she could only find the girl immature, but was still curious of what they did.

"hi baby" someone whispered in jisoo's ear, making her flinch.

she looked to her right, and gave the person a glare.

"you can't scare me like that kim taehyung" taehyung chuckles and throws his arm around her shoulders.
"sorry ji, but you were so focused on jennie, i just had to scare you" jisoo frowns at what he said.
"i wasn't focused on her, i was focused on what they did" jisoo said and looked at the football team instead.

taehyung gave the girl a secret smile, and looked at the football team as well.

"what are you doing here? you hate football" jisoo said, remembering how much taehyung whined about football last year.

taehyung wiggled his eyebrows at the girl, "well, i'm kinda into it now" he said and glanced at the field.

jisoo gave him a confused look.
she knew there were rumours about him having a boyfriend, but she didn't believe them, sometimes she did, since she noticed that her best friend had become a little more confident the past month, but she knew that if something was up, he'd tell her when he was ready.

"did you hear jackson is having a party on friday?" taehyung suddenly asked, making jisoo break out from her deep thought about his love life.
"yeah, i heard something about it, i think momo said it" jisoo answered and looked at the said blonde boy who ran on the field.
"well, we are going, i need to get drunk" taehyung said, and jisoo chuckles.

jennie and her family sat around the dinner table, not really talking. they didn't talk that much when they were eating, only sometimes, and it was mostly about jennies fathers job or about school.

"yoora said you had baked cookies again, jennie" the mother of the family said.
"yes mother, i did, lunch wasn't that good today" jennie answered, already knowing she was going to get scolded.

jennies father gave her a glance, and seungmin looked down at his plate, prepared for what was going to happen.

"you shouldn't be eating that much, it's cheerleading season, and boys don't like girls with belly fat" her mother said, and her father gave a agreeing hum.

jennie nodded slightly. she loved baking and had always done that. when she was younger, her and her grandmother and grandfather always baked different things everyday, which made jennie really good at it. but when she tatted high school, her parents didn't like the idea of her eating so much, so they stopped her.

seungmin, who still looked down on his plate, had a tight grip on his fork, trying to calm himself down before he said something to his parents.

jennie ate the rest of her food, thanked her parents for the dinner, and walked up to her room and tried to not cry.
