Chapter 6. United

(Panda POV)

I was quite devastated. We lost, like, everyone.  It was just me, Gawain, Ninja, and Claw.               "C' mon, let's get moving," Ninja announced. I hummed in reply, just loud enough for her to hear. We started to hike up the colorful mountain to the tunnels. 

"Ninja, Gawain, don't you find it a bit, odd, That there has been not one living soul?" I asked them. "Um, yes," Ninja said, looking around. "No, they probably are infected with the laughing gas and hiding," Gawain explained. "Whatever you say, Sir," I said. Gawain softly scoffed. 

(Claw POV)

The snow was starting to fall like usual. I was pretty worked up. Ok, I just got everyone captured, but if I said that they'd say: "Don't take it so hard," or "Hey, it wasn't your fault."  Typical.

I looked down in the snow. That's when I decided I wasn't going to wait any longer. I was gonna run, find out where the others were taken, and rescue them. Pretty simple, right?

I ran as fast as I could, and was already halfway across the area. As I panted I felt a hand on my shoulder. Quickly, I spun around to be met by two doe brown eyes. 

"Panda!" I panicked. "Don't worry kid," she said to me. "Why'd you follow me?" I asked, trying to steady my breathing. "Ay, I never let my friends do stupid things alone," Gawain said from behind Panda. I smiled. "Stupid?" Ninja asked, stepping next to me. "Pfft, it's probably better than what you were gonna say." Gawain scoffed, "The Vulpix army was a great idea!" 

I led the way while Gawain lectured about the pokemon army, Ninja tried to block out Gawain, and Panda was lost in thought. "Guys, GUYS!" I yelled. They all snapped their heads in my direction. "Where is the lair?!" I whisper yelled. 

Ninja pulled out her phone which was buzzing like bees. 

Unknown:  Want to play a game?

                                                                                       Me: No

Unknown: Guess your name

                                                                                    Me: Wth? I know my name

Unknown: Do you?

                                                                           Me: Duh, yes, my name is Ninja

Unknown: No.

                                                                               Me:  Yes

Unknown: Your name is tick. Her name is tock

                                                                           Me: Tick isn't my name! 

                                                                         Me: and who is she? I'm so >.<

Unknown: Five minutes left

                                                                  Me: Huh? What?! 

Unknown: you must save your friends within five minutes

                                                              Me: ...

Unknown: Four minutes left...

Ninja POV

This was creepy and utterly disturbing. Some anonymous person started randomly texting me, and they said my name was Tick? Wait... tick-tock, Tick & Tock, who was "Tock?" Who else got the message to save our friends? I had no idea, and I was worried. This had gotten very scary, very quickly. 

"W o t" was all Gawain said. I showed Panda.

She turned very pale. 

"Ninja, um, who else got this message?" she asked, concern and worry laced into her voice. "I dunno, wish I did." I looked down. 

We tried to figure out where the message came from. "Hmm, Gawain, the power is fading," Claw said. "Good! Because now, Ninja and Panda will sense radiation movements and electrical force caused by you and Olive," me and Panda's eyes widened. "Did I, forget to mention that?" he asked nervously. 

"YES!" I hissed, as I started to see the more, interesting, side of things. I felt like I was receiving my nine lives or something. The world turned black. 

Was I dead? 

Oh no, I didn't die?!

Then it turned white, and I fluttered open my eyes. 

A sense of awareness hit me hard. I looked to Panda, knowing fully of her weaknesses and her abilities. I hope the villains behind this do not have this power to see weaknesses. I thought. "Gawain, Claw, this way!" Me and Panda yelled in unison.

Unknown: United always divide

Unknown:  United once divided, Divided once united

The texts gave me a worried feeling.

Divided once United... will we divide?
