Chapter 5. The Pieces

(Sussetty's POV)

I looked over my shoulder to see Raven being attacked. "Raven!" I yelled at her. I felt Olive perk up. "Rav?!" She screamed. I set Olive down and ran toward the attacker, as Raven was shot with a tazor-like machine. 

She slowly pulled off the mask to reveal someone unexpected: 

Dawson.

"Dawson?" Olive asked loudly, he turned his head. "Guys, it's  him, the mask, made me do it!" He said. Olive was convinced, but I wasn't. 

I walked over to Raven's side and checked on her. "She should be fine," I told the two, lightly shaking Raven. "Raven, Raven!" I whisper-yelled. She shot up and jumped to her feet. I stood and placed my hands on her shoulders. "You're fine, Raven," I informed her. She nodded and ran to Olive, tackling her playfully. "How old are you guys?" I chuckled.

(Iggy POV)

"So, who are you?" Collin asked. "That's completely irrelevant right now!" I yelled at him. "Yeah, yeah, seriously! Are you IgiKo?" I nodded, and added, "But my friends call me Iggy." He just nodded. "I'm Angelia," my partner smiled. 

"One question," Angelia panted, turning to Collin. "Who are They." "They are called Scrapes," he said, gesturing to the masked and crazy figures who were shooting launchers at random places. 

We were currently hiding behind the Kart Kingdom sign in Mt. Snow, so while doing so Collin kindly explained the entire situation. Although, I didn't completely trust him. 

"Watch it, Iggy!" Angelia screamed as a blast came flying my way. I ducked, and luckily the blast missed. 

"Lia,  5 O'clock!" I yelled at her. She turned and I watched in horror as the blast hit her. 

I rose from my crouching position to see who hit her. It was, oh my gosh-

Coco. As in, Coconut5577...

"Coco! What the heck?!" I yelled, storming over to the crazed girl. I watched her fall to the ground, and I stepped back. "Man down! Man Down!" I yelled in my com, when: BOOM!

I felt electricity surge through my body as I fell to the ground. 

My vision was blurry. Nothing made sense. I could faintly make out someone run over to be. I sighed as my eyes fluttered shut. I hoped the others were okay, that the mission would be a success. 

(Claw POV)

I was fine, a little weak but fine. I could tell my energy was connecting to LDKK, however. We were connected because of our age, and how she had a comment on every single blog post. Making her practically programmed. I had gotten a whole blog post, so I was programmed. 

"Claw! The database!" Gawain called through his com. "Comin'!" I replied. I felt the power going through my body and was pretty scared.  What if the programming wouldn't allow a user to access the system. 

*Minutes later...*

I was with Gawain and Min, and we were in the system. Olive had connected and I reached full power. 

"Got it! Mt. Snow Data." Gawain said. Me and Miranda (Ninja) high fived- "LOADING! HOW CAN YOU BE LOADING?!" Gawain screamed. I groaned. "1%, 5%, 10%, Ugh. This is taking forever." Miranda moaned. 

(Anonymous POV)

I signaled my troops to attack the connection source. As we reached there we found an injured Ravensing, protective Sussetty1, 10Dawson10 (I groaned, I thought he was on our side), and an energy filled Lovedogskk. "Silent but deadly attack," I whispered to my group. 

I would go against Sussetty while Abby would face LDKK, the rest would hold off Dawson. 

I came out of the shadows and tackled Sussetty. She stood up in the snow with an angry look. "Listen," I hissed in a dangerous voice, "surrender, and we'll just take the energy and be on our way." Sussetty didn't flinch. I shook my head and zapped her. She slowly collapsed. "Suss-" Abby pounced on the struggling LDKK, and I walked over to Dawson. "Oki! Take-off-your-mask!" He yelled. I scoffed. "Fine!" he broke free of A13 and H82's grasps and grabbed my mask. I hissed as it fell to the ground. 

Finally, I smelled the cold air that I missed. I saw the colors I was dying to see. And I looked at Dawson. "S-sorry! I'm-" I was tackled by A13, wolfshinne. "Glimmer! GET OFF!" I scolded her, but she zapped be before I could say more. 

I watched tiredly as Olive was zapped, as well as Dawson. How? Who? Why? 

(Panda POV)

I watched as the trees and ground regained their color. That was how I liked it, a beautiful area full of people. 

Wait! That's what it was missing! 

I sprinted over to Gawain, Claw, and Ninja. "Good! You're okay!" Claw jumped on me. I nodded and smiled. 

We waited. And waited. And waited. Why was no one coming?

(Olive POV)

I woke in a cell, next to Iggy and Sussetty. Angelia was on the other side of the cell, gazing into nowhere. "Where are we?" I ask myself. 

Suddenly I'm jumped upon. "LD!" Wait. Only one person used that nickname. 

"Lizz?!" 

I exclaimed out loud. The black-haired girl jumped off and grinned. "I thought I'd never see you again!" She said, hugging me. 

I returned the hug, but then pulled away and said, "Lizz! It's been so long!" "I know..."

I looked her in the eyes. "Best friends forever," she whispered. 

I looked away. I had grown lonely these past years. My only hope was Lizz would come back, and now that she has, it hurts. All those times we spent together... all those memories coming back. 

"It hurts to remember how close we were back then..."  I said.

Lizz hugged me tightly. "I know."
