It's 4:11 in the morning when Mrs.Crousel walks into my room looking ready to comfort me as much as she can.

"Oh honey, calm down. It's okay. I'm here. You're safe." She kept saying until my breathing steadied.

"Oh, Mrs.Crousel it was horrible, terribly scary. They took her away, grabbed her shoulders hard so she couldn't escape from their grip. Snatched her family from her." I started crying. Really hard.

"It's gonna be ok," she says as gentle as a mother with a baby. Taking me in for a huge comforting hug.

"I wanna see Seamus," I said. Well, more like begged her to let me.

"Honey its 4 in the morning, don't you think he's sleeping right now?"
I know him. He's not sleeping. I think.

"Go to bed sweetie" and so I close my eyes but don't sleep. If I wanna see Seamus tonight then I'll need to put my best acting skills to the purpose.
I keep them closed until I hear the door close.

Once I reach Seamus's room, I hesitate. Is he really asleep? Would he mind me coming in at 4 am?
Before I have the chance to knock at his door he opens it himself.

"Oh! Hey, Charmel" he says surprised

"Hey" he must see that I've been crying again because he starts to look sad himself.

"What happened?" He asks worriedly

"I had a dream. It was horrible Seam."
He looked sad at the name.
I only call him that when I truly need his comfort.
"Where were you going?" I ask

"Outside. I need fresh air. Wanna come?"

"Yes, please"

"Ok. But be quiet, if we get caught" he says this with a terrified look on his face.

When we get outside I find a spot in the ground while Seamus sits on the only bench the orphanage provides.

"So what was your dream this time?"

"It was a little girl playing with a little boy that looked a year older than her or so."

"What happens then?" He asks

"The little girl went to her grandma and started saying some stuff. I don't know what, "I sighed " then these cars came and cars came and it happens really fast but they grabbed the little girl and boy and started pushing them towards the car. The next thing I'd know is that there was fire on the ground. On the bottom of it was what looked like bodies."
It only took a few seconds to realize that there were arms around me.

"It's okay, Mel."

"I'm really sorry Seam."

"For what?"

"For always stressing you out; I mean I just woke you up at 4 in the morning just because I was scared."
Seam looked surprised. He broke our hug to look at me.

"Mel, you can do anything you like. You are my best friend, my only friend here. I trust you more than anyone in the world, " he then looks into my eyes "when you come to me, it makes me feel special, proud, happy and beyond. I'm glad to be the person that you always come to. You have no reason to apologize"

I then realized something.
"why did you need to get out today?"

"I was thinking all day"

"About?" I asked curiously

"Everything. The outside world. What's beyond these walls? Where I came from and most of all you"

"Me?"

"Yes! You're dreams and why you have them. Maybe...Nevermind it's stupid."
I had this quick feeling of sadness. I think that I wanted him to say something else about me. Weird.

"No, tell me" I give him the puppy eyes and he laughs. It felt like such an accomplishment to make him laugh.

"Alright. Maybe your dreams are clues?" This was more of a question

"What do you mean, clues?"

"To you know...help us get out of here"
I'm still so confused

"I know it's crazy," he says with a smile " but think of it, maybe we can get out of this place. See what's beyond it all"

"I would love that. But it's not possible"

"But we don't know that, do we?"
This kid is crazy.
I start laughing and when I turned to look at him he looked hurt.
《》
"You think it's funny?"

"Completely hilarious"

"Well, I find a way outta here"

"You've got to be kidding"
He unwraps his arms from my shoulder which leaves me cold and he gets up to leave. Before he gets far he turns his head and says: "I'm doing it. If you wanna join me, ill be in my room."
Then he leaves to his room.
Wow.
