Chapter 14: The Misadventures of My Gym Partner Lazlo

The next one led the heroes to a camp. "A camp?" Asked KO. The rest looked confused. "Chowder!" Mung yelled still hanging onto his shirt to stop him. "Yo mon, you shouldn't be here," Grim said. "I wanted to come for the adventure and maybe find something to eat." Chowder said. "Well, maybe we can use some more heroes to help us find the Pen and stop Strike." KO said. The heroes didn't argue because why not. "Oooh, hotdogs!" Yelled Chowder. There was a table full of them. 

"Lazlo!" Yelled scoutmaster Lumpus. Lazlo was wandering with his scout friends about to enjoy some lunch until they saw that the hot dogs were gone and so was the table. "Wait what happened to the food?" Asked the Edward. "Hi, sorry but Chowder ate them all but I have a quick question, have you seen a giant Pen?" Asked KO. "No, I haven't," Lazlo said. "You weirdos come to our camp asking for a Pen and eat all our food, what is wrong with you?" The Edward asked. "So no Pen?" Ice King asked. They nodded no. "Well let's try another dimension," KO told Grim. Grim made a new portal and they all walked in.

"Jake can you stop playing around." Adam Lyon said. "Come on Adam, I'm bored, school is boring," Jake said. "Mr. Lion, shouldn't you and Mr. Spidermonkey be in class." The Principal Pixiefrog asked. "Well, you see..." Adam was cut off when Grim made a rip in the fabric of space. "Anyone saw a giant Pen?" Asked KO. "No, but I got a regular pen," Jake said when giving KO he chewed up the red pen. "Thanks," KO said with disgust. "Let's go," Grim said. On to the next dimension.

"Ok Flapjack lets go to the Candy Barrel." Captain K'nuckles said. "You have money captain?" Flapjack asked. "We don't need money, my boy, we just need to act like we are tuff and maybe Peppermint Larry will give us tuff guys some candy." Captain said. "Heheheh!" Flapjack giggled. "Don't do that." Captain said. "Sorry." Flapjack apologize. Portal appeared and the heroes stepped out. "A dock?" Ko asked. "Who are you land lovers?" Captain asked. "We are looking for a big red Pen, have you seen one mon?" Asked Grim. 

"Can't say I have, you got any candy on you?" Asked K'nuckles. Grim and K'nuckles continued wagering while Chowder smelled the aroma of candy further down the port. "Hahahahehe!" Chowder giggled. He ran as fast as he could and stormed in the Candy Barrel just to go behind the counter the begin using the nozzle to put candy in his mouth. "Hey, you got to pay for that." Peppermint Larry said. Chowder then caught a glimpse of Candy Wife. Chowder had pieces of candy in his eyes. Chowder ran over. "You come here often?" Chowder asked. No answer. "What a tasty looking ring you have on." He said. Proceeding to eat her hand. "Candy Wife!" Larry shouted.

"Enough mon, have you seen a Pen or not?" Asked Grim. "I don't know got anything to sweeten the deal," K'nuckles asked. Grim got impatient and used his scythe to make an endless portal of him falling forever. "What the-" K'nuckles was cut off once he entered and started falling endless. "O-" "K," K'nuckles said while it was hard to speak in full words. Grim stopped him from falling and K'nuckles felt woozy. 

"I haven't seen-" K'nuckles felt like he was going to throw up. "I haven't seen a Pen." K'nuckles finally said. "Well, let's got to the next dimension then," KO said sadly. All of a sudden they heard someone screaming for their life. Chowder ran as fast as his little legs could take him. "Let's go!" He yelled in the distance. Peppermint Larry had a candy chainsaw. Grim quickly made a portal and they all went in with Chowder being the last one. "Wow Captain those were some interesting folks. Hehehe." Flapjack giggled.
