Chapter 2: Steven and The Gems

"Hey Steven, what were you doing?" Asked Peridot as Steven walked near the temple. "I was just enjoying the sunrise." Said Steven. "Wow." Said Peridot as she looked to the horizon. All of a sudden, a figure blocking the view flew down to the beach. "Lapis!" Peridot screamed. Pumpkin also started to bark and ran down with Peridot. Peridot went to hug Lapis and Pumpkin, barking happily. "I was only gone for an hour," Lapis said. "Yeah, I know, but I just missed you." Said Peridot. Lapis hugged the little gem back. Picking her up and twirling around as they both laughed.

After the events on Homeworld, everything seemed peaceful. All the crystal gems had new forms. The diamonds were done trying to conquer planets and finally accepted Steven. It was nice. All of a sudden, Strike appeared from a portal in the sky. "Oh, this is going to be good." He said. "Who is that?" asked Peridot. " I don't know." Said Steven, sounding worried. Strike then ran through his database. Searching for villains that could be recruited. The rest of the crystal gems ran to the commotion. Garnet stood still and recognized the figure. "Oh no, it's Strike," Garnet said.

"Who's Strike?" Pearl asked. "No time, we need to stop him from whatever he is doing," Garnet said, activating her steel gloves. All the gems lined up and attacked the figure. Strike noticed and began using the pen to take the heroes' powers one by one. Garnet fell, and Strike lowered down. "Hello hero, you won't be able to stop me this time. I am getting villains from all over to defeat you and your friends for fun and to destroy your universes." He said with a satisfying grin. "I will go back in time with this function that I added to the Pen that I used for the last villain." He said as he then began travelling into another portal. Not before giving back the powers to the gems. "You'll be seeing me very  soon, heroes." He said before disappearing.

     Going back to the days of Jasper first appearing on earth and White Diamond being all and mighty. As Jasper's ship descended onto the beach, Strike appeared. "Oh, this will be fun." He said. "Who's this? Some off-color or fusion?" Jasper said, confused, as she held Lapis' arm, and Peridot followed behind. "I am the one who is going to make a deal with you, villain." He said before blasting Jasper with his future vision. The gems on the beach were in shock, and Peridot and Lapis watched. Jasper collapsed and knelt. "What do you want?" She asked. "I am putting together a team of  villains, and you will do nicely." He said. Jasper nodded and threw Lapis in front of the gems. Strike then took Jasper's hand and left for another portal. He then travelled to Homeworld during that same timeline.

Strike took Jasper to the mech head of White Diamond. White Pearl stood by. As soon as Strike began to speak, White spoke over. "What imperfection is this? A off-color or a fusion monster? Oh, and the Jasper of the Earth mission." White said, still standing elegantly. "I am no gem, I am a villain. A villain that is going to have you join my team.' Strike said. White stood and opened her eyes to start turning Jasper grey-white. Strike soon used his Pen to take away White's power. As soon as that happened, White fell to her knees. "What sort of power do you wield?" She asked, frightened. "That does not matter; what matters is what the future will hold for you." Strike said as he blasted the future visions into White's head. She was on the verge of crying when he finished showing the future. "What is it that you desire?" She asked. "For us to destroy the heroes and the universes they inhabit," Strike said with a smile. She agreed and regained her power from the Pen. He then sent them to his lair and headed to the next universe.
