Zoom vs. Flash

"So," the Music Mistier appeared again. "That was the end of the first season of the show, mostly. So, I'll be sending some people in," three bright flashes appeared and two men appeared whilst the Henry Allen from the past disappeared. "These are Henry Allen from a few months after the events you just witnessed, Dr. Harrison Wells from Earth-2. Now, without further adieu, on with season two!" Before anyone could say anything, the lights dimmed again and the video started.

Caitlin: Zoom cannot be human.

"Who?"

"Zoom," Harry reiterated, "he's a tyrant on my Earth. Obsessed with being the fastest. He'll kill anyone who gets in his way."

Wells: He is... or was.

Cisco: How the hell is Barry supposed to defeat that?

"Not alone, and if you try I'll kill you myself," Iris and Joe growled.

Oliver saw Barry open his mouth to argue but he interrupted him, "they're right. You can't do it alone. You need help."

"This coming from the guy who threatened to put an arrow in me after I saved his life." Oliver just glared and everyone else was just tired of all the questions so they kept quiet.

Wells: Why is he running away?

Cisco: He's not. He's not scared. Ooh, he's gonna thunderbolt him!

"Huh?" was the general consensus.

Wells: What?

Caitlin: Jay taught him how to throw lightning.

"Who taught him to what now?" Dig asked. "Man, Barry, my cousin was struck by lightning once and all he developed was a stutter, I wish that was all you'd developed. Your life is making me reevaluate my sanity."

"Why does Zoom look uninterested?" Felicity asked, nervous for her friend.

Barry: Did you guys see that?

"Barry!" Iris, Felicity, Nora, Henry, and Joe shouted in worry for the man.

Cisco: See him catch a bolt of lightning with his demonic claws? Yeah, saw that.

Caitlin: Jay was right. He cannot do this alone.

Wells: He's not alone.

"Uh, what are you doing?" Cisco questioned.

Wells just looked at him and stated, "This is the future, how am I supposed to know what I'm doing in the future? However, I'd assume that I'm going to go help Mr. Allen with Zoom so that he is not brutally killed by Zoom."

Caitlin: Run Barry.

Barry: No. I'm gonna see if Wells' speed-dampening serum works. What do you want from me?

Zoom: Everything

"Okay..." Iris dragged out. "What is that supposed to mean?"

Barry: You want to be me? Is that it? You want to be a hero?

Zoom: Heroes die.

Everyone's breath caught in worry for what would happen to the young hero.

Barry: Only if you catch them.

Caitlin: How is Barry going to match Zoom's speed?

"He can't." Wells plainly stated.

"Hey, Pessimist," Cisco called, "you're not helping anyone with that."

"I am not a pessimist, I am a realist. It's just facts, Barry cannot match nor beat Zoom's speed. He will lose."

Cisco: He's not gonna match it. He's gonna take it out of the equation altogether.

Caitlin: What are you talking about?

"I'm talking about Terminal Velocity. The highest velocity attainable by a falling object."

Everyone was nodding in agreement yet still throwing worried glances back at where Barry is sitting between his mother and Iris.

"NO!" everyone shouted as the sound of Barry's spine breaking rang throughout the room.

Zoom: Never forget, I am the fastest man alive

"What's he doing?" Henry asked Caitlin, because of her medical knowledge, and Wells, because he's obviously got a history with Zoom.

Caitlin: He's killing him.

Cisco: Barry.

Zoom: You're next

"Why is he carrying him throughout the city?" Felicity asked.

"So that the city can see that he defeated their hero," Dig told her.

Iris: Barry...

Zoom: Look at your hero. This man is no god, He is nothing! The days of the Flash protecting this city are over.

Joe: No, hold your fire!

Patty: Put him down!

Zoom: Now what will you do without your precious hero?

Singh: Shoot that thing, now!

Zoom: Nice try

"Where's he taking him now?"

Wells: Anything

Caitlin: No

Wells: Do you have him?

Cisco: No

Caitlin: Barry!

"Oh, good. He's back at STAR Labs," Cisco mumbled under his breath. Caitlin heard and slapped him in the back of his head.

Zoom: Harrison Wells, you thought you could defeat me with this?

Wells: I made a mistake

"You know that thing?!" Everyone shouted at Wells.

Zoom: Yes, a costly one. Goodbye, Flash. You too weren't fast enough.

"Thank everything out there that Zoom was unable to kill Barry. The world would be a whole lot darker without My Beautiful Boy in it." Nora lovingly stated whilst pulling Barry into a side hug and placing a kiss on his brow.
