"The dismissal bell should be ringing soon and I have something to say to all of you. I am so thankful to have gotten the chance to work with all my students, but my favorite was this class. You are all so intelligent and you have a wonderful future ahead of you. This has been a wonderful semester, but this is a well needed break for all of us. I hope you have a wonderful break! Merry Christmas, and see you next year!" Mrs. Mullins grinned at the whole class, as she spoke in her cheery high-pitched voice. Her thick frame of glasses stumbled in my direction, she offered me a small smile before she turned to her desk.
She only did that because she knew about what happened with Diego. It's a bit weird to get personal with your teacher but I did not mind because Mrs. Mullins wasn't just my teacher. She was my friend.
She noticed me failing a few test and sinking into what she called a 'depression hole'. I finally told her about what happened and she weirdly understood it completely. I didn't question her advice; "There will be a time and place where you'll realize what to do. That time and place will be so victorious that you will question if all of the bad stuff actually happened."
Im still waiting for that time.
I smiled with joy when the final bell rung. I needed this break.
I hurried out the extensive main doors, out to the parking lot.
I stopped in front of the black car I was used to stopping at everyday, and leaned against the drivers side.
"Hey there hot stuff." Danny smiled as he walked over to me.
"Hi." I smiled shyly as he placed a kiss on my cheek.
"I was thinking we could go somewhere instead of going straight to your house." He said talking my backpack from me and walking us to the passenger side.
"Like on a date?" I fake gasped as he opened the door for me.
I slipped into the passenger side and stared up at him.
"Yes sweetheart, a date." He laughed. "I have something to tell you." He leaned down to where of faces were inches apart.
"Sounds fun?" I scrunched up my eyebrows.
"You'll like it." He pecked my lips before shutting the car door.
He paced over to his side of the car, opening the door.
He sit my bag and his bag in the back seat and got in. "Promise." He winked before starting up the engine.

"So....What did you want to tell me?" I scooped up some salsa onto my chip, finishing the last of my meal.
Danny took me to the Mexican restaurant about fifteen minutes from school.
He sat straight up in the booth. Clearing this throat before he opened his mouth, "We have been hanging out a lot lately, six dates to be exact. I've noticed myself falling for you MJ and I just wanted to ask you something."
I grinned at him, he seemed a bit nervous and it was all just adorable. "I'm all ears." I pushed my plate from me and leaned forward.
He scooped my hands in his, squeezing them gently, "I was wondering if you wanted to start this break off right and make things official?" He stared into my eyes, fear of rejection beaming off of him, I have no clue why. Who could turn down Danny?
"Official as in I'm your girlfriend and you're my boyfriend?" I smirked.
"Yeah. I know it hasn't been long but I really like you. Making you my girlfriend would be an absolute honor." He wore a charming smile tugging my hands to pull me closer to him.
