"So how was everyone's day?" Holly asked looking at everyone as she set the bowl of noodles back on the table.
I looked over to Deigo, laughing at all the stuff that happened today with him, "Interesting." I admitted.
"How so?" She looked curiously at me.
"Let's just say I've opened my eyes. I also realized a few things." I answered honestly.
"I hope they are all good things." She gave me a playful warning look.
"Of coarse they were." I smiled at her, I knocked my knee against Diego's under the table. He was busy going to town on food. He has had about four helpings already.

"You're really cute." Danny smiled. He reached over and tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear. I felt my breath hitch in my throat as he gently caressed my cheek. He leaned off the lockers and pressed his lips to my ear, "How about I take you out tonight?"
I felt my cheeks burn as his lips grazed just over my ear, sending shivers down my spine. My whole body was stiff, all I could do was nod. "Pick you up at 7 sweetheart." He gently kiss my cheek before walking away from me.
I gripped my books tighter. This was it. After four months I, MJ Walker, was about to get my date with the cutest guy in school.

I settled on floral top from Hollister, and a pair of denim shorts. I wanted to look cute without overdoing it.
I placed my final pearl earring into my ear and glanced at the time. 6:46.
I grabbed my phone from the charger and started downstairs.
I sat down on the comfy, leather couch and flipped on the TV.
"What's up?" Elliot asked as he flopped down beside me. I hadn't even heard him walk in.
"Nothing." I replied simply.
"Where are you going, and why do you smell so nice?" I heard another voice from behind me.
I didn't even have to look to know it was Diego. Does he ever spend time at his own house? Where were these boys coming from anyways?
"What makes you assume I'm going anywhere?" I flipped through a few channels before looking at them.
"1. You're wearing make up. 2. You smell like vanilla. 3. You shaved your legs. 4. You straightened your hair." Elliot and Diego combined a list of answers for me to pick from.
"Okay, yes. I'm going out." I nodded hoping they would leave it alone but I should've know better than that.
"With who? Can we come? We're really bored." Elliot asked.
"Nobody. No, and I can't help you there." I answered vaguely. I pressed the button on the top of my phone, 7:15. Ugh.
"Friday night loners." Diego laughed.
"Awe what a sha-"
Ding dong
I pushed myself from the couch, but Diego and Elliot were already racing towards the door. So help me god.
"Guys! Stop! Let me get it!" I screamed, but it was too late. As soon as I got there they had ready gotten the door open. Son of a bitch.
There Danny stood, flowers in hand. He had a nicely fitting plaid shirt and dark washed jeans. He let his hair fall across his forehead, and a winning smile on his lips.
"Diego, Elliot! Didn't know I was taking you out on a date as well!" He chuckled.
"No. They were just leaving!" I said pushing through both of them.
