so maybe cody wasn't meant for ashley after all.
after a few days of moping, calum effortlessly tried again to find the right guy for ashley.
he decided with his coworker, daniel.
ashley used to have a crush on daniel, but he had a girlfriend. now that he was single as hell, calum figured why not.
so again ashley got ready for another date with another guy. black boots, black jeans, black sweater.
he was taking her to a coffee shop and it was open mic night, and calum's band was performing aswell.
calum had boasted about how daniel loved singing and poetry, two of ashley's favorite things. she was even more excited for tonight than last time.
calum bid his wishes to his two great friends and accompanied them to the coffee shop until he met with his bandmates.
calum and his band performed frequently at the coffee shop. ashley being a "groupie" she was, she went to most of his their shows.
daniel would see them sometimes, too. he just wasn't very into it.
after calum's band, daniel went up to the stage ready to recite his poem.
"you gave me light in times of darkness.
you brought me happiness in times of sadness.
and although this poem's cliche,
it's not like the first time we made creme brulee.
you made it and then u shoved it in my face.
then u kicked me out your place.
we broke up, please don't let me babble.
i thought you loved me,"
daniel started to cry, and then he began yelling,
"I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME, MY FUCKIN CINNAMON APPLE!"
now daniel was full blown sobbing.
he threw the chair and ran out of the coffee shop.
ashley sat awestruck, before a slow echo of snaps filled the air.
she sent daggers at calum, fuming that he did this again.
his face was apologetic, but deep down that face had a different emotion that he could never admit.
