FAMILY REUNION

THE WILCOX'S AND BRONX'S

The Bronx's had made it to the Wicox's family vacation cabin where Tonya and Jay's house would be nearly finished in about another few weeks. When the Wilcox's saw the Bronx's appear with only backpacks and some horses they quickly approached them. Ariel and Linus were with the Bronx's and James was as well.

"What happened?" Gabriel asked. That's when the horrible news was brought to them all.

Tonya and Jay came out overhearing it, Tonya fell to the ground crying over Belle's death as well as for all the others.

Jay held her as she cried in his arms. He too was crying, both Tonya and Jay were on the ground crying together as they held each other. Laci came rushing over to them both hugging them crying as well. James was beside himself he couldn't cry but he was angry. He grabbed an ax ready to swing at anything that was in front of him.

"No don't James, don't." Laci called out. When an animal came out of nowhere it was a deer. Pretty young. He approached James who then took the ax and was about to chop him up when he heard Tonya scream.

"No! Don't!" But he didn't listen he chopped the deer up while Tonya cried out. She ran after James knocking him to the ground. "What is wrong with you girl it was only a deer." He yelled out at her.

"It was a poor defenseless deer, I hate you. I hate you!" Tonya cried out as she kicked dirt at James. Both Gabriel and Charles came racing over to get her off of him. "Shhh, calm down, calm down shhhh its ok." Gabriel said as Tonya let him hold her. Jay came over grabbing hold of Tonya and brought her back into the house. He held her as they cried on the bed. "Its alright baby girl. I'm here, don't be afraid, shhhh. its' alright."

When everyone was done crying over the whole community's deaths as well as Belle's everyone sat to dinner in the cabin. Which the Bronx's had brought the left over meat they had prepared. James ate his food quietly before retiring over to the fire place. Autumn would be approaching soon and wood was being stacked up over in a shed that had been built a long time ago by Gabriel. Good wood was inside but he chopped more and more. It was just how he found the way to pass the time. Charles and the boys were always working on Tony and Jay's home. It was becoming gorgeous to Tonya. But she was wanting to get away for  a while.

She wanted to stay one night or two back at the Wilcox's house but they weren't too thrilled on her going alone. Tonya went with a cup of hot cocoa with marshmellows for herself and James. She went over to him handing him a cup and he took it thanking her.

"I'm sorry I attacked you earlier. I just love animals and I can't stand to see one get killed like that. I'm sorry about your wife." She said in tears. "It's alright. She was defending herself and me and she just well she got in the middle and was killed for it. I held her in my arms as she died." James began to get emotional so Tonya went over hugging him on the couch in front of the fireplace.

"Thank you Tonya, you are really sweet. I'll never be able to find another wife like my Belle ever again." James sobbed and sobbed breaking down completely. "Don't say such things James. You'll find another wife. Even if you have to share one with someone it should work." She said trying to comfort him.

"We are a broken family." Said James. "No we aren't!" Tonya said a bit loudly. "Hey you two, tomorrow morning we will be having a memorial service for the family." Said Charles. "Ok thank you." Said Tonya.

Just then Tyler could be heard crying Tonya got up and excused herself to check on him. She came back out later holding little Tyler in her arms as he reached out for her smiling at her. "Hey there little guy. I love you so much." She said through the tears as she held him close to her chest and kissed his little face.

(Tyler cackles.)

"Is that our grandson we hear?" Laci said as she came over holding Tyler and kissing his face crying while she talked to him and danced a little holding him. Little Tammy came out holding Tonya's hand still sucking her thumb.

"I still wish you would get that little girl to stop sucking her thumb." Said Charles. "Hush Charles, she's just a child. Just because you don't keep girls doesn't mean you have to treat her that way. She loves you." Tonya said outspeaking to one of the Wilcox's which was not allowed but Tonya didn't care.

"Dont you talk to me like that young lady or you will be punished by me personally." "Shut up old man!" Tonya hollered. That's when Charles came rushing over to Tonya about to slap her when Carlos got between them. "Stop it! Just stop it! Charles you know we don't harm our women like you do. Everyone just cool down! Stop fighting! All we have is each other now and we are gonna have to get along respect one another and no fighting." Carlos said in a loud voice. Tammy went over to Charles and said to him, "Papa, don't be mad please." She said as she hugged him. Charles and his family were taken back by this, but it secretly melted his old heart.

He tapped her on the head before picking her up and bouncing her on his knee. "You called me papa why?" He asked. "Because you are, you're my grandfather and I love you and Tommy and Jimmy are my cousins." Tammy actually made the whole family smile. "Why must we fight? It isn't fair. And why must we kill?" She asked. "To protect what's ours." Said Charles. "But when do we stop being so violent? And start to give more love?" She asked.

"Baby, we never stop loving we just kill to protect what's ours. You'll understand someday when you grow older." Said Gabriel.

"Ok that's enough come Tammy it's time for your bath and then bed time." Said Tonya. Tammy took Tonya's hand as she took her into the bathroom and bathed her. "Can you tell me another story about mama?" Tammy asked. "Yes I can sweetie."

After Tammy's bath Tonya took her into her room where she shared the room with Tyler. Tonya tucked Tammy into her little bed and kissed her head then started telling her a story about Brenda Tammy's mother. Telling her what kind of person Brenda was, and how loving and caring she was.

After a while Tammy dozed off and went to sleep. Lindsay was holding Tyler when Tonya went back into the kitchen where everyone was sitting while James was still in front of the fire place.

"Why do you tell her stories of the past when she should just move on?' Gabriel asked. "She has to know about her mother. Save your words. You Wilcox's have a different way of looking at things and us Bronx's look at things way more different than you guys do. so just let us raise our children our way and you raise yours your way." Tonya said getting upset. Jay took Tyler from Lindsay and kissed his head and took him back to his crib where he quickly fell asleep. Jay then took Tonya's hand and they went to their bedroom.

THE MEMORIAL SERVICE

By morning everyone had their breakfast and then went outside to do the service. Tonya held Jay's hand while Laci and Carlos held onto their grandson Tyler and Tammy stood on the other side of Tonya holding her hand while Charles gave the service about everyone who lived in the community. When the service was interupted by Atlas and his barking dog Arctic. "Nice to see you Atlas." Said Charles. "What's happened?" He asked. He was informed of everything.

He joined the service not holding hands but his dog Arctic did with Laci. The service lasted about an hour. After it was done. Everyone went on about their days work. Not much was said to anyone. The Wilcox's worked on Tonya and Jay's cabin. But put plenty of rooms inside for Laci and Carlos too. Tammy's room was made it was all coming together very well and quite nicely. Jay and Tonya spent the day in bed since she was getting bigger in her pregnancy. Laci and Carlos looked after Tammy and Tyler for the day. James and Atlas went out in the woods to hunt. Arctic went with and it was just pretty much like that all day a quiet and relaxing day.
