So before this begins I want to explain the requests. I don't do x reader one shots but I'll do practically anything else. By the way this one is #receit for RemusxDeceit. If you have a request it's simple, comment what pairing you'd like(or bonding/family moment) and I'll write your request down and get to writing it. First commented request gets written first. There WILL be times I'll close down requests if I get too overloaded or if I need to take a break. Doubt it'll be any time soon though. Now! Onto the Receit!

Remus's POV

'Another day another spider that you ate whilst sleeping.' Thought Remus as he walked through his portion of Imagination.

Well, he calls it his portion of Imagination but alas he is butt the Duke. Not to mention his brother prefers it if he stays at the very back of Imagination.

"What is a Duke such as I to do in such times of when frivolous thoughts are clearly in dire needed and instead I'm stuck here with all my," Remus pauses as he saw a gold sliver in the corner of his eye.

He played it off as a dramatic pause, "Creative ideas."

Remus continued on with walking through his area of Imagination.
"Why last I heard they couldn't even come up with a perfectly creative solution to their last problem! I even heard a snake was there..."

It took a lot of self control to stop himself from saying, "I'd love if said snake would slither in."

Now while The Duke loves to monologue it'd be suspicious to whoever was listening to him to see him talking to no one. So Remus did what he did best. He decided he wanted to be at the local graveyard and opened up the door on the coffin about to be buried.

"Now that I've got your attention," Remus declares pulling Joan from the coffin completely, "You'd think that such a creature would inspire something amazing! Something that I could intru- I mean offer my input on."

Remus could hear the freshly dug up dirt being moved about behind him.

"But no. All that snake did was make our dear host more 'true' to himself. A snake they say, hmph, hardly."

By now Remus was posing Joan's body and taking down notes he could use next time his other half was out of commission. This was some good future material. Granted it was all improv until a certain someone made themselves known. For now he'd have to continue putting on a good show.

Who knows, maybe if he put on a good enough act there'd be an encoure.

'All this better be worth it. I don't even know what this snake looks like, and yet I'm hoping to be cast in his game.'

"Now," Remus crouched down next to the lifeless Joan and pulled them up by the arm to stand with a twirl, "don't you think I'd do a MUCH better job? Not too mention I'd get to have a nice little reunion with my dear little twin."

Remus finally dropped Joan completely to lay in a heap on the ground as he leaned back faintly, eyes closed.

"But no, I'm too, progressive for those pitiful children. What is wrong with wanting things to get a little interesting?"

"If interesting is what your looking for, I could help you out." Echoed a voice from in front of Remus.

Finally Remus' guest decided to appear. He was starting to wonder if this snake was going to make him wait all day. But after hearing his audiences voice he decided his guest was worth putting on a little more flair for his daily show. Why not take a little peak before continuing on with his act?

Remus decided to open up one of his eyes behind his hand.
'Hmm, I wonder what Talyn would look like with eyes for hands and hands for eyes?'
He then directed his eye towards his guest.

Dam.

Da-yam.

Decked out with those marvelous gloves and hat. That sly smirk. Those eyes, oh one is a different co-uh-lor. Not to mention the thoughts the scaled side of his guests face gave him. This snake was obviously a tall glass of arsenic.

Remus couldn't wait to take his dose of poison. Alas, he had to continue his show before curtain call. Then he could see about the ways this snake could twist his stache.

Closing his eye Remus began, "Oh dear traveller, what brings you here to my little party? It's not every day I get visitors."

That was a lie of course. Even though they didn't see eye to eye Roman made sure to visit his brother regularly. Remus found it rather annoying.

"Why to offer the opportunity to, spice up things here in the mind." Deceit coyly responded.

"Now why come to The Duke and not The Prince? He has more influence then I at the moment." Remus decided his stance of faint was enough and stood like a normal side. That is with his eyes wide open and arms like he was looking through a window.

"It's about time things changed up a bit wouldn't you agree my dear Duke?" Deceit purred.

"Hmm. Now what would make me take up your offer this time Deceit unlike all the other times?" Remus decided to get to the point. Curtain time was soon.

"Because unlike before I finally have a deal that'll entice you to agree." Deceit had given up on speaking in lies to The Duke a couple visits ago. Unlike his brother he could see through a fake compliment easily.

"And what would that be?" Remus inquired leaning uncomfortably closer to the golden lyre.

"You'll have to go and do as I have asked in order to find out." Deceit states as he walked out of Remus' reach and went behind him. Pushing him so he fell over.

"Now that's not fair." Remus exclaimed, but he did love a good mystery.

"And Lemons aren't square. Go on, if you want to know you have to go. The video is starting soon." Deceit ushered while pulling up a chair and sitting down. Admiring the details of the imagined burial.

"Fine" huffed Remus as he left Imagination and made his way to what would be known as Intrusive Thought.
