You mean it?

"Erin wait!" Felix shouted.

"Yeah Felix?"

" Are you still going to be here tomorrow?"

"For a couple of hours my mom has a business meeting in the morning. Why?"

"Well I um I was wondering if you wanted to go with me to the beach tomorrow. Just to walk around?"

"Yeah of course. As long as I don't have to wear a bathing suit."

"I wanted to go swimming tomorrow since it is supposed to be hot. But I figured you wouldn't go swimming."

"I mean I can go swimming. But I would just wear shorts and a t-shirt. If that's ok."

"Yeah of course. As long as your comfortable. I don't want you to be uncomfortable around me. So I'll pick you up at 11 tomorrow morning then?"

"Yeah that's fine. Good night Felix."

"Good night Erin, see you tomorrow morning"

I walked into my hotel room with a big smile on my face.

"What are you smiling about?" My mom asked.

"Oh nothing. What time do you have your meeting tomorrow?"

"At 8:30. Why?"

"Oh no reason. Is it ok if I go hang out with a friend tomorrow?"

"Yeah. Why would-. Friend? You made a friend today?"

"Yeah. He is really nice. And he understands all that I have went through. I think I like him?"

"What? You have a crush on him?"

My mom looked away. She looked like she was about to cry.

"Mom what is wrong?"

"You- I can tell that you like him. I haven't seen you smile like that in a while. If course I am fine with you going out tomorrow. I think I am going to go to bed I have to get up early. Good night love you."

"Love you too.

I got my clothes around for the beach with Felix. I just grabbed a simple t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants. I got a pair of basketball shorts and an old t-shirt to swim in. I took a shower and then headed to bed.

I woke up to my alarm going off. I got up and brushed my shot and teeth then got dressed. I had a hard time sleeping because I kept thinking about today.

I got a text from Felix.

Felix
I just pulled up to the hotel. Are you ready?

Erin
Yeah I'm heading down rn.

Felix
Ok.

I walked down the stairs and I saw Felix.

"Hey" he said while leaning towards me to give me a hug.

"Hi" I said looking down again.

"You ready to go?"

I nodded

We started walking to the car. I was about to open the door when he said "Nope."

I looked over at him and he smiled.

"What I'm a gentleman. So I am going to open the door for you. My mom always taught me to do that whenever you are driving a girl somewhere."

"Well thank you Felix."

"No problem." He said with a smile.

I got into the car. Felix shut the door and ran to the other side.

"My phone is plugged into the aux cord. You can play some music off you want." He said as he pulled out of the parking lot.

"Ok." I said grabbing his phone and played Side Effects."

"Wow you have a good taste in music." Felix said jokingly.

Once that song finished Felix asked me to put on Come Hang Out by AJR.

Thr car ride consisted of us recommendeding songs to each other.

We finally pulled into the parking lot.

"Is this a private beach?" I asked.

"Yeah. I just thought this would be better than a crowded beach. The bathrooms are over there you can go change?"

"Aren't you going to change? I asked.

"Don't need to. I have my swim trunks under my sweatpants."

I nodded and walked of to get changed.

I came back with a towel wrapped around my waist and saw Felix sitting on the hood of his car. I walked over.

"Do you want to go swimming no or wait for a bit?"he asked.

"I don't care."

"Can we swim now?"

"Yeah of course."

"Then let's gooooo!" Felix yelled as he ran away.

I chuckled and walked over and hurriedly walked into the water. I didn't see Felix. So I looked around and he jumped out of the water to try to scare me. I jumped back and glared at him. While he was laughing so hard he fell dragging me down with him.

I came back up and looked over at Felix. He had a huge smile on his face.

"What is so funny" I asked.

"Nothing is funny."

"We then why are you smiling?"

"I'm happy. I'm happy that I'm here with you. I'm happy that I get to spend time with such a beautiful woman."

"Felix I told you yesterday to stop joking."

"But I'm not joking." He said walking over to me.

I looked down and he lifted my chin up with his index finger.

"I promise you I'm not joking. I'm telling the truth." He said leaning in closer.

He paused for a few seconds and said "Believe me I'm not joking. I think you are beautiful." He said.

I could feel his hot breath on my lips. I closed my eyes as our lips connected. Right as out lips touched I felt fireworks.

The kiss was a short but sweet kiss. He pulled away smiling.

"I think you are beautiful. And I like you Erin."

"You mean it?"
