"Are you going to hurry up or what Felix?! We have to be there in 15 minutes!"
"Yeah! Just let me finish up my sandwich!"
"Now Felix! Eat it in the car! I'll drive today!"
"Fine!" Felix yelled and groaned at the same time. "I know you are excited for today but calm down. It's just a dog."
"Just a dog? Just a dog?! No this is not just a dog. This is a French bulldog."
"Ok. Sorry you don't have to get so protective over it." Felix said grabbing my knee.
"Felix I'm driving. Don't do that."
"I can see that you are driving. What am I doing wrong?" He asked innocently.
"Distracting me." I said.
"I'm not doing anything." He said while squeezing my leg.
"Ok! We are here." I said in a rush to get out of this situation.
We walked up to the door and knocked.
A lady that looked in her mid 50's opened the door and said, "Yes?"
"Hi, I'm here to pick up a French bulldog. I'm Erin."
"Ah, yes! C'mon in. I will go grab him for you."
"Thank you." I said.
A few minutes passed and she walked in with A French bulldog
"Aw! Babe look how cute he is!" I said in awe to Felix.
"He is cute."
"So before you go you might need to know some things about French bulldogs." She said.
The lady told us all we needed to know and I paid her. We are on our way home, but we got hungry.
We stopped by Dairy Queen and got some food. I got Bella a doggie bowl. (I named the French bulldog Bella.)
We got back to the house and I got Bella situated. She decided to take a nap. So me and Felix sat on the couch and talked. Then Bella woke up so we decided to play with her.
I was rolling around on the floor with Bella while Felix was just staring at the wall. I picked up Bella's toy and threw it. It was a bit too big for her mouth so it took her a while to grab it.
While she was getting her toy I looked over at Felix.
"Hey, is something wrong Felix?"
"Nope." He said in a crappy tone while popping the p.
"Something is wrong. Your mad. You can't just be mad at nothing."
Bella came running back over to me with the toy. I grabbed it and threw it again.
"It's Bella. She's getting all your attention. You have barely talked to me today because of her." Felix said.
I started laughing.
"What?" Felix asked
"Y-your jealous of a d-dog." I said while laughing so hard that I started crying. Bella walked over to me and sat down beside me and started chewing on her toy.
"Jealous? Me jealous? Of a dog?"
I nodded my head.
"Not jealous. I just know he is going to take all of your attention away fro- Ok I do sound kind of jealous."
"You are such a dork. A dog is not going to replace you."
