The Gate opens

A/N: This is a side story for my 'INTO THE NEW WORLD' story where tts magnus is sent to another universe where his family is female. He is the only male yadda yadda, but anyways on with the story!

It is the 31 millnium, the great crusade is still in affect, Magnus primarch of the XVI legion had made peace with the Eldar(screw Aldari, that's a dumb name) by marrying farseer Taldeer, Magnus also made the flesh change less severe for his legion not the thousand sons but the masters of change. But his home prospero isn't like most of the worlds in which the children of the empress landed on. It was a planet practically dedicated to learning and knowledge, while other worlds the before mentioned children of the empress landed on were mostly feudal worlds, death worlds, and sometimes both mixed together, or worlds where it was run by gangs in hive cities. Prospero on the other hand only had a bit of a pest problem and that was it. But today something would change the normal calm of the planet, it came in the form of a Gate...

Count formal 3 POV

When count formal and the other nobles passed through the gate they were honestly surprised at what they saw. They saw spires so high in the sky they must have touched the gods, and gold. It seemed to be everywhere, either this country they are now invading is very rich, or its very wasteful. As they marched the local population just stared at them not really knowing what was going on.

Civilian #1: Is there a show going on?

Civilian #2: Are those drakes from Nocturne?

Civilian #3: The hell?

General: Attack these barbarians men!we shall take this land for the emperor and empire!!

The army then ransacked the area, killing it taking whoever they could grab. Then figures in weird armor and weapons brought death upon them, their weapons tearing through the flesh of their soldiers.

General: Attack!

The archers let loose a volley of arrows and the standard infantry charged. The arrows did some damage knocking one to the ground the others on the other hand just cut open the soldiers.

Soldier#1: Are they all mages?!"

Soldier#2: Who cares?! Run!

The army formation they held started to break and rout, running back to the gate. Several managed to escape before the demons came. They came from the sky, and when they entered the battlefield they shot lighting from their hands and others had swords that roared and took chunks of flesh off of any soldier they came across. While they shot thunder and fire from their bulky staffs, ripping people apart or making them turn into red paste. The red armored demons then waved their hands and the counts vision went black. He then awoke in a cold and barren cell. Then one of the demons walked in.

Demon: Quis es?

Count formal: What?

Demon: Ah.

It's eyes flashed and then what it said surprised him.

Demon: Now, Who are you?

CF(count formal): I am count Formal of the Empire. I rule, or now ruled italica.

Demon: I see, I am Cleopatra Ahriman. First captain of the masters of change. Why did you invade us?

CF: Our emperor forced me and my sons in law to come, as a show of force. I wanted no part in this so please make my death quick.

Ahriman: Hmm, no. We aren't the night lords we don't murder people given the circumstances In which the crime is done. We will offer you clemency here.
