we're sort of in love
but we have the kind of love
that nobody really writes about
we don't have the sparks
we don't have the flame
we don't live in a fantasy world
of stars aligning and the sun shining brightly everyday
you and i
we only have the laughs
the inside jokes we love to make
the stupid things we sometimes say
we don't have much
and maybe that's okay
because i don't want to risk losing this
over something i know could easily go away
