*4 months later*
"I'm thinking Spain," Ally said, pushing her sunglasses up onto her head.
Ally, Camila and Lauren we're sitting in the park on a red picnic mat with their friends talking about their annual summer trip they did together.
"Guys, we really don't need to go this year," Camila said uneasily.
"What? Why wouldn't we?" Dinah asked through a mouthful of her tuna sandwich.
"Yeah, why not?" Lauren questioned.
Camila simply shrugged and proceeded to gathering one rubbish from the picnic mat.
"Lo, can you help me throw this away?" Camila asked. Lauren nodded and stood up, taking some of the wrappers and boxes from Camila before following her across the large grassy area.
"I just... I don't think it's the best thing for you right now," Camila said quietly to Lauren as they walked side by side.
"Camz, I'll be fine," Lauren said briskly.
"Lauren, you won't have any therapy for three weeks, and I don't want to interrupt your recovery process," Camila said as they emptied the rubbish into the bin.
"Camila, I'm doing fine, I'm not reliant on therapy, okay?"
"Lauren, in the last three months I've had to increase your dosage of antidepressants twice, and prescribe you antipsychotics strong enough to treat schizophrenia, I don't want to risk anything getting worse," Camila said, placing her hands in the back pockets of her shorts.
"Camila, I want to go," Lauren argued, folding her arms across her chest.
"Your behaviour has been erratic lately, your mood is inconsistent and you haven't been sleeping. You were doing okay until a month ago, what happened?"
"Nothing happened," Lauren muttered.
"Laur, I'm concerned about you." Camila said with a sigh.
Lauren rolled her eyes.
"I'm not your charity case," she snapped, before walking in the opposite direction to where Ally, Normani and Dinah were waiting.
"Where are you going?" Camila asked, jogging to keep up with her.
"To the bathroom," Lauren replied angrily.
"Lo, don't do this, I'm sorry if I upset you, okay? Let's just go back-,"
"Camila, leave me the fuck alone," Lauren growled as they entered the bathroom, which was thankfully empty.
"Lo, please," Camila said, grabbing her by the wrist. Lauren shrugged her off before hastily locking herself in one of the cubicles. She didn't care that Camila was right outside.
Camila sighed and leaned against the wall next the the stall, crossing her arms. The sound of gagging filled the air and there was nothing she could do. She waited patiently until she heard the sound of the toilet flushing and Lauren emerged from the stall looking slightly pale. She followed her to the sink.
"When's your next therapy appointment?" Camila asked as Lauren rinsed her mouth out.
"Tomorrow".
"Can you talk to Sophie about the trip then?" Camila asked, handing Lauren a paper towel to dry her face.
"I guess," Lauren said quietly, accepting the paper towel.
"Okay, we should head back," Camila said. Lauren nodded, pulling a stick of gum out of her back pocket as they left.
