Cheryl's pov

"Come here you little shit!"

"Toni language!" I yelled from Bella's room as I helped her choose an outfit.

Toni and I were getting the kids ready to go to a picnic with the gang and their kids.

I dealt with Bella while Toni dealt with Nova.

Let's just say that I have the easiest job.

"Babe he won't let me change him." Toni said with a pout as she leaned against the door.

"Children." Bella sighed and sat on her bed in her fluffy white robe and I heard Toni chuckle.

"Nova Jay Topaz get your little butt in here now!" I yelled and I heard his little feet pat against the floor as he ran to the room.

"Yes mommy?" He asked innocently as he approached me with only his pull-ups on.

I knelt down to his hight.

"Let mom change you or i'm taking your crayons." I said sternly while looking into his eyes.

"Yes ma'am." He said with his head down. "Thank you baby boy." I said and kissed his cheek.

He automatically cheered up with a big smile.

I looked up at Toni and saw her looking at me with a smile on her face. I smiled back with and playfully rolled my eyes.

"Now go on so I can get your sister dressed." I said and he ran off to Toni.

She picked him up and put him over her shoulder.

"Why can't you do that for me?" I heard her say as they walked off.

"Now back to you sweetheart." I turned around to face Bella.

"I don't know which one." Bella said looking at the pair of clothes on each side of her body.

On her left were short overalls with a long-sleeved yellow shirt. On her right was a yellow dress with a daisy in the middle with a jean jacket attached.

Both outfits included her black Chuck Taylor's.

"Well I know a trick to figure out which one you truly want on the inside." I said with a playful smirk.

"How mommy? I want them both the same." She said and tilted her head in the cutest way.

"Okay let me show you the trick." I said and grabbed both outfits by the hanger and put them behind my back.

"Now Bells cover your eyes and turn around." I said and she did so a little too dramatically which made me giggle.

I pretended to do magic by making all kinds of weird noises. I then held up the outfit with the dress and jean jacket and put the overall shorts behind my back.

"Okay baby now open your eyes." I said and she took her hands off of her eyes but stayed with her back to me.

"And turn around you silly goose." I laughed and she turned around.

"Your outfit today is the dress." I said and Bella had a smile on her face but then it slowly faded away.

"What if I want to play. I can't play in a dress mommy. If I wear the dress I won't be able to be happy with my friends." She said a little upset which made my heart ache for her.

"So you want the overalls?" I said with a small smile. "Yes please." She said with a growing smile and then her eyes got wide.

"You really did do magic! Momma said you were magical but I didn't know like this." She said excitedly while jumping up and down.
