Chapter 1 - We are Mia and Sia and We rock

-Many classes later -

Thank god. School's over, and I can finally leave with a fucking smile on my face, because I found a way to avoid the conference: Running.

I ran to the door, about to rush out until I was stopped by Principal Merricks.

"Where do you think you're going, young lady?" Principal Merricks asked, arms folded across his chest.

You've got 5 seconds to make up something good, hurry!

"I was just going to the nearby Starbucks.. my aunt told me to get her some coffee before the conference." I lied.

"Really?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

I nodded, but he just kept looking all over my face.

"I don't think you need the Starbucks, Gabriella. I mean, don't you remember that we have a coffee machine in the cafeteria? So why would your aunt ask specifically for Starbucks?" He asked suspicious.

Shit, I'm doomed.

My face must've turned into a frown, because Principal Merricks smirked.

"My thoughts exactly. Come on now, I'm sure you wouldn't want to be late to the conference, yes?" He said.

I sighed in annoyance, letting him take me to the room where it's held.

-At the Conference-

"Alright parents, students," Mrs.Azaria called, "Introduce yourselves."

A parent with dark brown hair stood up. "My name is Phoebe Geller, and I'm the parent of Libby Geller." She said, pointing towards her daughter.

One parent, with a blonde daughter who looked older than me, stood up.

"My name is Lea Simmermont, and I'm the parent of Mikayla Simmermont." The woman stated, pointing to her daughter whom sat right next to her before she sat back down.

Another blonde one stood up, "My name is Sia Atchison, I'm the parent of Mia Atchison." She said, pointing to her daughter.

Then stood another parent, "My name is Millie Warner, I'm the parent of Caroline Warner." She stated, also pointing towards her daughter.

And another, "My name is Nina Ellis, and I'm the parent of Shania Ellis."

"I'm Simon Ferg, and I'm Steven Ferg's older brother."

"Okay then, I'm guessing we're all complete so --" Mrs.Azaria was interrupted by the sound of a door opening.

"Sorry I'm late, got stuck in traffic." The person stated.

"That's okay, have a seat Jace."

'Jace' took a seat next to Simon, and so the terror begins.

"Hi. I'm Jace Evans, I'm Cameron Evans' cousin." He introduced.

"Cameron, don't you have siblings?" Mrs.Azaria asked.

"No." He simply stated.

"Well alright then. Ash, Rob, where are your parents?"

"Busy." Ash and Rob said in unison.

"Alright, is there anyone left who hasn't introduced themselves?"

Aunt Mariella raised her hand.

"Okay Ms.Darden, you may go last." Mrs.Azaria stated.

Aunt Mar fixed her shirt and got up, "I'm Mariella Darden, and I'm Gabriella's aunt." She said, before sitting back down.

"Alright, thank you all for your introductions. As you all know, you are here because of how rebellious and crazy these kids have been. First, I'd like for Mrs.Simmermont to stand up."

Mrs.Simmermont stood up. Taking her in, she looks pretty. I guessed that she was probably in her thirties or so, but still pretty. Blonde hair, grey eyes, and good skin. Mikayla has inherited a lot from her.

"Mrs.Simmermont, do you know what your daughter did?" Mrs.Azaria asked.

"I don't have the slightest clue why I'm here." She bluntly stated.

"Okay then. Mikayla, could you tell your mother what you have done?" Mrs.Azaria asked politely.

Mikayla stood up, sighing. "I spray painted some of the lunch table's wood and turned it all into a skateboarding ramp." She stated.

"Okay, but how could you seperate the table's piece of wood from it's chairs' wood?" Mrs.Azaria asked, confused.

"My boyfriend helped me, he's good at that stuff." Mikayla said.

"I thought you were still single! Please tell me you did not give your virginity to him, please!" Mrs.Simmermont exasperatedly yelled.

"Well, at least you know now that I'm not single." Mikayla shrugged, sitting down.

Mrs.Simmermont put her hands on her face, before putting them back down.

"May I be excused to use the restroom, Mrs.Azaria?" She asked.

Mrs.Azaria nodded. Mrs.Simmermont just ran out of there, presumably crying.

"I'm sorry about my mom, she's kind of over-emotional." Mikayla stated in disappointment.

"It's okay, Mikayla." Mrs.Azaria smiled, "Alright, Mrs.Geller, you're up now."

Mrs.Geller stood up. "My daughter's mute, there's nothing she could possibly do."

Well that's a fact. Libby's mute..

"She may not be able to do any verbal action, but she could do physical." Mrs.Azaria stated.

Mrs.Geller sighed, "So maybe she slapped Rebecca Hemmer, big deal! The girl bullied her, called her names just because she was mute and was unable to respond with words." Mrs.Geller shouted, angry over the fact that her daughters' kind had no respect.

"Mrs.Geller, you do know that she could come to a teacher and tell them, or just see the part-time counselor --whom happens to be me--, am I right?" Mrs.Azaria stated.

Libby got up, took a piece of paper from her purse along with a pen, and wrote something on it, before handing the paper to Mrs.Azaria.

"You wouldn't listen to me if I told you, you'd believe Rebecca." Mrs.Azaria said, reading the note out loud.

"It doesn't hurt to try, though. Another reason why I believe education and it's industry are very good for the human race!" Mrs.Atchison butted in.

"Mom, stop, please. It's enough you embarrass me every time we go anywhere, raising my hands up in the air and screaming 'MY DAUGHTER'S NAME IS MIA LIKE MIA TALERICO AND MY NAME IS SIA LIKE THE SINGER SIA, SO BOW DOWN TO US CAUSE WE ROCK!', really just stop!" Mia stated, frustrated.

"But we're cool people!" Mrs.Atchison told her daughter, making the cool gesture.

"No, mom. Especially with what you're doing right now, we're so not." Mia sighed.

Mrs.Atchison sighed, putting her arms on her desk.

Mrs.Azaria cleared her throat, "Thank you Mrs.Geller... and Mrs.Atchison. Please, have a seat Mrs.Geller."

Mrs.Geller sat down, with arms crossed over her chest in annoyance.

"Man I wish my boyfriend would be supportive of me instead of backing out..." I could hear Mikayla mutter sadly.

This is going to take a while.
