Chapter 22: Mourning

Hoseok pov:
I screamed as I could feel Jimin die. I fell to the ground clutching my hair while Yoongi crouched before me trying to make contact with me, but I kept screaming till the tears spilled out of my eyes. Then I felt a gush of wind what made me look up. There I saw Jimin floating above the ground Like he was smoke. My eyes widened as the tears escaped my eyes while he spoke "Hobi, I am dead but don't be sad about it. I sacrificed myself to save Minho, don't blame him it was my choice."
"Jimin." I croak "I will miss you."
When those words left my lips I could hear a loud sob from Jungkook and Yoongi holding his breath while gritting his teeth in anger. I glanced at Namjoon and saw he was sitting on the ground head in his hands while his shoulder were shaking as a sign he was crying. I focused my attention back on the ghost that is Jimin. Jimin smiled sadly at me before talking to me one again "I will miss you too, but if you ever need my help, just summon me god of death." He tells me with a smirk ghosting his featurettes. I could only nod while the tears still streamed down my cheeks . "I am off to Join Dowoon then." He Smiles "I will be the voice of the death for you until next time my brother." Then he became surrounded by smoke and I saw Dowoon appear next to him, taking his hand before they both disappeared.

I stood up facing the others with red eyes and tear stained cheeks "Jimin is dead." I manage to say "He sacrificed himself to save Minho."
"What about the others?" Bang Chan asks referring to the people who were separated with us.
I looked at him and shoke my head "I feel that Medusa is dead, her evil presence has left this earth so I think the others are okay."
"Why did it have to be Jimin." Yoongi choked out "He never hurted a fly in his life."
I bit my lip before hugging him tight and let sadness consume us. Namjoon was comforted by Jackson and his cousin Jooheon while Jungkook was sobbing uncontrollably on Wonho his shoulder. Then we heard footsteps coming closer to us and I saw Jin carrying Jimin his body as the rest followed him with red puffy eyes. Minho was trailing behind them looking at the ground. Taehyung ran to Jungkook as he pulled him in a hug and cried together. Jin was just starring into nothing not fully accepting what had happened while clutching Jimin his body tight. Then Minho spoke up "I am sorry, this is all my fault if I would have never come into your lives Jimin and Dowoon would still be alive."
Wonpil walked towards him and placed a hand on his shoulder "No one here is to blame except for Medusa."
I stood up as Kihyun comforted Yoongi before walking towards Minho "Don't blame yourself." I smiled "Jimin told me before he went that you shouldn't blame yourself."
"But, he is dead." he trembled.
"And he made the choice to sacrifice himself." Han cut in.
"No one could stop Jimin if he had his mind set to something." Taehyung spoke "No one."
I smiled "Jimin would want all of us to move on, of course we can mourn him and remember the good things we had with him and Dowoon. But he wouldn't want us to stop living our life."
"Hobi is right." Namjoon replies drying his tears.
"And above all." I reply "He is reunited with Dowoon once again."
Minho nodded as the tears slipped out of his eyes. I pulled him in a hug and we just stood there mourning the lost of our friends and brother.
