Her life began to flash before her eyes as she saw what was ahead of her. Its eye glowed an intense shade of blue and a devilish red mist emitted from its corrupt body. It began to peer into her very soul as it hovered above the calm waters of the now malice infested Vah Ruta. She clenched her trident tightly as she prepared to defend herself from the monstrosity built solely to end her existence. She was petrified even to lay eyes upon the monstrosity, let alone do battle with it. But she needed to swallow her fears to save the people of her domain and by extension the rest of Hyrule. She took a deep breath and rushed at the monster, having now vanquished her fear. The Beast then swiftly reacted by swinging its oversized spear towards her. She looked in shock at its blazing speed, and she could only just raise her trident in defence before she was launched across the room by its sheer power as she hit the stone wall of the room she let out a scream of agony as she finally fell to the floor.

She lay there in the shallow water of the control room she once used to have so much fun in. She contemplated how she could possibly win this encounter. Even in one blow, she was knocked away as if she was nothing. This creature was of a different kind, it was a beast of pure evil and hate. All the moments of her time in this world began to flash in front of her. Her memories, her hopes, and dreams all seemed so pointless to her now. She let out another groan as she attempted to use her strength to get up, she would only have enough strength to take one or two more of those blows before it would be all over and it seemed she would need to fight tooth and nail to get anywhere near to defeating this. It was clear to her now that she was fighting an enemy that was leaps and bounds ahead of her in terms of combat potential.

She only just managed to stumble to her feet before the creature decided to thrust its spear at her. The ancient and glowing blade sliced the side of her cheek as she dived out of the way to avoid the full force of the attack. She charged forward and unleashed a flurry of blows upon the Beast as it attempted to recover from its last attack. She quickly jumped back to regain her defensive stance and anticipate the monsters next move. Her blows seemed to not phase the Beast at all as it spun around in rapid pace and swung at her again. This time she was ready, and she barely slid by its spear and Landed a couple of blows to the creatures head. And it seemed to take effect. The Beast reeled and screamed in agony as it's other hand held its eye. It seemed she had managed to put a crack in its eye with that last blow.

She had a brief moment of relief as she had figured out it's Achilles heel. She knew now that this creature's weak spot was its eye. The creature then spun around and activated a red laser that locked on to the center of her chest. She looked in horror as the beasts eye began beeping rapidly. A blue light began to surround its head as the beeping grew ever faster. She lifted her trident in a sheer panic of not knowing what to do as the last beep went out, and the bright blue beam was fired. It ripped through the air at seemingly impossible speeds as it proceeded to rip her trident into fragments and collide with her main body. She was flung helplessly across the room and collided with the centre console breaking several bones in her back region. She let out a helpless scream as she slid down the console. Blood sweat and years now streaming down her face she looked up at the creature as it prepared to fire again, but this time the red targeting beam locked on to between her eyes. She looked to her right and saw one of Link's metal training shields. She picked it up and polished after he had left it there from the last time they trained together, but this was no time for reminiscing she just managed to grab it as the creature drew close to firing.

She closed her eyes for a moment and Concentrated on what she needed to do. The last beep then sounded out, and she perfectly deflected the beam, and it shot straight back into the creatures eye. It screamed ear-piercingly loud as it's eye shattered sending shards everywhere. Its spear disappeared, and its evil malice began to dissipate as it continued to scream in pain. The scream eventually ended, and she was relieved that at least her home was now safe from this immense evil.

Her vision began to go dark, and eventually, it went entirely black.
