The rehab had been incredibly tough on mipha but she was determined to see it to completion for the sake of Hyrule and her domain. It took her 4 months to get back to her original state even with the help of her healing ability but there were some specific spots in her back that could not be healed properly perhaps due to how damaging the Lazer from that beast was. but after her recovery, she had planned to head off to Kakariko Village she believed that it would be her best chance to get a full understanding of what had happened since she was attacked in her divine beast. She was a massive fan of the people at the village and the sheikah and Zora had good trade relations and they are also quite close in proximity. But despite their relations, no contact has been maintained between the sheikah and Zora as the path between them was too treacherous for any normal traveller and may even prove difficult for the likes of the champions.

her eyes flickered open once again awakening to such a familiar setting. Polymus mountain towering above the domain, vah ruta sitting idle in the east reservoir lake and the distant roar of the Mikau lake waterfall felt like the meaning of existence to her. She grew up here and has collected so many treasured memories from the people and places around the domain how could she not adore it? It was only fitting that she volunteered to protect it and Hyrule with her life. she sat up breathing in the atmosphere and stretching out the morning stiffness before putting on her clothes and joining her father and brother for breakfast.

"Mipha!" Sidon cheered as he wrapped his fins around her legs. "So you're leaving for Kakariko today right?" "yes I am but ill try not to be too long. I wouldn't want my little brother Sidon worrying about me now would I?" she said whilst rubbing his tailfin "hehe nope". "anyway let's get breakfast" she said as she took his hand and lead him to the throne room where everything was set for them. She took her seat and found a raw Mighty Porgy on her plate. " I hope you enjoy it, my dear, it was quite an oddity to find one here" explained king dorephan . "wait it was found here!?" She questioned, "But how?". "I am not sure"  replied king dorephan "perhaps it is a new species". "maybe..." she said resuming her breakfast. after she had finished she spent some time with Sidon and then planned to depart.

"mipha I have a departing gift for you" announced king Dorephan " oh really? what would that be Father?" Muzu brigs out a set of silver talons that looked specially crafted for her "there we are princess" Muzu smiled. As she picks them up she was amazed about the amount of detail and effort put into it.  the silver and blue on the gauntlet complemented each other incredibly well and the old Saphire Zora insignia was dazzling. "Father t-these are amazing. how did you even get these?" Mipha said whilst still marvelling the incredible craftsmanship "oh it's an old relic from the days of twilight. Back when Rails was king these climbing talons were used to help Zora peace envoys get to death mountain." Dorephan explained " and I suggest you travel through Lanayru wetlands and then scale the wall at Telta lake. that should cut a considerable bit out of your journey " "yes thank you father I will take your advice but I must be leaving now before it gets too late " mipha said with a hint of urgency to her voice "very well I can tell you're anxious to report to Impa" mipha bowed her head and worked her way to the great Zora bridge.

Once there she noticed the lack of guards standing there and the lack of Zora's fishing. as she dived in she quickly realised why. Lizalfos covered the walkways. they stood there with their evil beady eyes and razor-like tongs just sticking out of their mouths. luckily she was able to sneak passed as she didn't want an unnecessary fight. But as she approached Oren bridge the chances of staying unseen was rapidly lowering as more and more of them were materializing as if from thin air. she continued to swim as low as possible to the river bed but being a bright shade of red was certainly not helpful and she knew that it was only a matter of time before she got spotted. But she still continued to push on down past the two waterfalls and into the straights of Zora river but two her surprise there were four Lizalfos waiting with electric arrows at the ready.

Her eyes widened as she realised what this meant. Her advantage had quickly become her disadvantage as they released the sting on bows sending highly fatal electric arrows directly at her. Not having a second to lose she leapt out of the water and used her new talons to grab onto a nearby wall. the Lizalfos looked completely dumbfounded. they couldn't see her body anywhere. Clearly, there were unaware that she had jumped out just moments before. This was her chance but she had to plan carefully and she believed she could only take down 2 in one go so she would have to make it count. without wasting too much time she threw her trident into the head of the lizalfos that was on her side of the bank and then dropped down and killed the other one with the sharp points of her climbing talons but as she was eliminating that two, one of the lizalfos on the other side threw his sword and it cut her shoulder and then lodged in the side of the rock.

unphased by the pain she reached for it an threw it back this time hitting its original owner square in the head killing it instantly. realizing there was still one left she grabbed her trident and threw it again hitting it straight through the throat and pinning it to the wall. as the last one poofed away the pain from the cut began setting in she was able to wrap it and close the wound with her healing powers but she lacked the time to heal it properly as it was already mid-day and she aimed to be there by nightfall. without hesitation, she picked up her trident and a Lizal sword and set on her way.

Once she passed Zora river it seemed that most of the lizalfos were behind her but she was sure that there would be more troubles ahead.
