In order to truly be able to live happily and not think about the past you have to be willing to forgive whom ever for yourself not for them. Otherwise you're stuck in the past not able to let go and live.
I been trying to forgive Saqui for what he did since our wedding night until the morning he died. I wanted him to suffer just like I have, how Naz, Phia and Tyrone did. And he did and is in hell. But I still have to forgive him for myself.
I stood there at his grave site just with no emotion in my body what so ever.
"When I first met you, I was head over heels in love with you" I shook my head
"You was everything I wanted in a man and more. I was so thankful for you, and happy to be with you" I laughed
"All of that changed in a matter of seconds. Everything I thought about you was wrong and lies. I tried for three years to get away. You never stopped, you tried to kill us"
"But I still forgive you because I have to be happy for myself and my family"
"I forgive you Saqui Bahe, but I hope you're rotting in hell" I smilled
I felt better, a lot better.
