My summer was definitely interesting, I spent most of my time at STAR Labs with Cisco and Caitlin, but some of the time was spent with my dad in his office too.

The day that I start school again has finally come. I put on the uniform that my grandmother sent me, and left my room. My dad was already sitting at the table eating breakfast.

"Hey Skyler. Eat your breakfast, we don't want to be late."

"Alright," I went and sat down at the table and ate my food, making a travel mug of coffee, and putting on my shoes afterwards. I grabbed my backpack and looked at my dad.

"You ready to go?"

"Yeah,"I smiled and the two of us walked the two blocks to my new school. We walked into the office and a friendly secretary smiled at us.

"New enrollment?"

"Yes, this is Skyler Allen," dad said. The two of us went to City Hall a little over a month ago and got my last name changed, just another way of forgetting my mother.

"I'll let the headmaster know you're here."

The headmaster invited us in just a few minutes later. "I am Dr. Alban, the headmaster here. You must be Skyler."

"Yes, it's very nice to meet you."

"You as well. I got some very incredible recommendations from your previous school, and I am very glad to have you here. I am going to put you into the very first SAT testing time I can, is that okay with you."

"Of course. I have been practicing all summer."

"Good. Now, here's your schedule, and your locker number. I just need the both of you to sign this paper, it's just a basic student contract, the same one you signed at our sister school."

I did as I was told before saying goodbye to my dad before leaving.

It didn't take me long to find my locker or my class, and I was only a little bit late, luckily I had a pass.

"The freshman classes are on the other side of the school," my teacher said.

"That's nice for the freshman, but this is my class," I put my pass on his desk.

"Senior advanced calculus?"

"Yes."

"Take a seat, and don't expect me to go easy on you, try to keep up."

I nodded and pulled out my notebook as I sat down.

The class went fast, but I easily kept up, already knowing most of what the teenager was saying.

"One through fifteen tonight, you're all dismissed."

I left with all of the other kids and went to find my next class. I have only two senior classes, math and english, because that is all most seniors have, most of the time those two are the only credits left for them to fill. I have the rest of my credits to finish, the ones that aren't basic and skipped in between grades.
-
Why is english a required class? You just learn the same things over and over again. I mean it's easy, but without it I would have the time to take other math and science courses, but no, you have to take english.
-
Other than my english class, I love my semester- math, biology, and chemistry. Then of course, I have guitar-my fine arts credit-, anatomy and psychology, child development, and computer science.

I walked out of the school after the final bell and went across the street to Jitters.

"Hi, what can I get you?"

"Large mocha frappuccino."

"Is that all?"

"Yeah."
