There's a tale as old as time. It began with the two most noble clans in the Land of Fire.

Harashima Senju and Madara Uchiha were the best of buddies. Though the Senju's were werewolves and the Uchiha's were vampires, they were inseparable. So much so that they even once tried to bathe together. But as they grew older, shit changed.

Madara became obsessed with trying to find a way to make hybrids. While Harashima tried to find ways to bring more clans together. One day Harashima found Madara in the Scroll Chambers of the Senju people.

The Scroll Chambers are very sacred to their people and are only to be entered by the people of the respective clan. When Harashima found Madara in the Chambers he was very upset because not only did his lifelong friend break the most sacred rule but he also wouldn't give him an explanation as to why he was in there. They fought which ruined the peace and incited war.

This was the first war in history, The Great Senju- Uchiha War. The War lasted for approximately six months because Madara wanted a ceasefire when the news that his younger brother Izuna was killed. The ceasefire was granted with the exception that he and his people were banished to Sora-Ku (The Sky Ward) and to never step foot in The Land of Fire soon-to-be Konohagakure ever again. And if they were to enter the grounds of Konohagakure they would be killed on site with no questions asked.
