Minato left shortly after saying his 'I love you's' and telling them that he'd  be back in a minute. It's sad though because he wouldn't be back in a minute, an hour, or even a day. That would be the last time he would ever see his proud family.

Naruto's P.O.V

"Kyu, I don't feel so good." whispered a worried Naruto. "I'm sure you just ate too much cake. And plus dad's a badass so he'll be fine." Reassured Kurama. "Yeah, you're right, dad is amazing, you wanna open presents with me?" Asked Naruto, who hurriedly changed the subject."Sure", replied Kurama.

Kurama's P.O.V

I noticed that Kit was trying to change the subject. So instead of pushing the topic, I just agreed to help him with his presents. I still have this lingering feeling that something is going to happen but, today is my Lil bro's birthday so, for him I'll put a smile on my face.

The Uzumaki-Namekaze family continued to celebrate Lil Naru's big day. They all had this ominous feeling lingering around them, though none of them spoke on it. What they did was mentally prepare for whatever it was that was going to happen.

It really is a shame that such a beautiful family would have to loose one of their members. More so that the werewolf pack would have to loose their leader.

Wow, just wow. How could I have forgotten the most important gift that would be bestowed upon my youngest legacy.

If things couldn't get any worse, it did now because now it's raining hard and has started to thunder and lightning. I should hurry to my office before I catch cold.

Since Minato was too busy scolding himself he failed to realize the lightning striking where he was walking.

All Minato remembered before hitting the ground was an immense amount of excruciating pain.
