Crystal was feeling uneasy. This area felt too deep, like something was under her.

She turned to Sinbad and smiled. "How is it possible that you can sleep?" she asked quietly to herself.

She had learned so much about him over their time sailing. He became a close friend that she trusted. He was kind, bright, and always knowing how to make her feel better.

The boat shaked a little. Then, a gigantic creature with a huge red horn on its head suddenly flew out of the water in a loud roar. It looked like a serpent, bright yellow and green.

"Sinbad!" Crystal exclaimed.

With that, he jolted awake. Taking in the situation, he pulled out his sword into a fighting stance.

Just then, a tall and large man with bright blue hair jumped into the air and hurled a harpoon-like stick at the serpent. Crystal was sure that the impact would cause the beast to fall back, but it remained and the man fell into the sea.

Sinbad unleashed the power of his sword in a yell. "Baal!'

A huge burst of blue lightning shot out of the sword and into the beast, subduing it. Sinbad sheathed the sword and looked to Crystal with worried eyes.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

Crystal nodded, unable to trust her voice after seeing the terrifying monster that stood right before her a few seconds ago.

"Are you sure?"

Crystal nodded again, gathering her voice to speak.

"Yeah, that was incredible, Sinbad."

He shyly smiled and rubbed the back of his neck with his hand.

"Thanks, but Baal did most of the work." he replied cheekily.

"Hey, shouldn't we check on that guy who threw that harpoon to see if he's okay?" Crystal asked.

Sinbad nodded.

They led their boat to the shore, seeing the man sharpening a wooden stick with the harpoon he threw. Behind him was a younger looking girl sleeping on the floor with the same bright blue hair.

Crystal grabbed Sinbad's wrist and pulled closer towards the two, and the beast that Sinbad fried with his sword.

"Wow, what an amazing catch you have there!" Sinbad told the man.

"It's an Abarae narwhal. They're usually found in the southern seas, but once a year they travel north to spawn."

"Incredible," Sinbad remarked," And you were only going to use that harpoon to take them down?"

"Well, I mean-" he nervously fidgeted with the harpoon in his hand and stammered.

"Sinbad!" Crystal gently slapped Sinbad behind the head.

The girl sleeping on the floor woke up and ran towards the blue-haired man excitedly. "Brother! Did you finally get one?"

She had sparkling yellow eyes and bright blue hair. She jumped around happily at the sight of the lifeless narwhal lying on the sand and was praising her brother on what an amazing job he did.

"Yay, you actually did it! I always believed you were more than just a swimmer. This is fantastic bro, really! Oh man, I wish I coulda seen it, but hang on. Why is it all burnt?" She turned to see Sinbad and Crystal. "And who are you guys?"

"Hi, I'm Crystal and this is Sinbad. What's your name?"

She grinned and said, "I'm Pipirika."

"Pipirika, hi." Sinbad said then turned to her brother. "And you're...sorry I don't think I caught your name."

The man stayed silent.

"Hina," Pipirika answered for him. "Even though my brother's 21, he still has his childhood name."

Hina's face flushed a little in embarassment.

"But, since he finally caught an Abarae narwhal, he'll be granted his warrior name," Pipirika continued.

"Oh," Crystal and Sinbad said in awe.

"You're finally gonna be recognized by the one," Pipirika said excitedly to Hina.

"Whose that?" Crystal asked.

"She's fierce, elegant, and the best role model and woman can have. Also, without a doubt, she's the most beautiful woman in Imuchakk," Pipirika explained.

"Really?" Sinbad asked with a smirk.

Crystal rolled her eyes jokingly, in an attempt to hide the thoughts going on inside her head. Is he interested in this because of the pretty girls?
