Totally A Pity Date

Rydel and Corey were sitting outside the shop, they never really opened unless all their staff was there.

Rydel was in a blue shirt and black leggings, she was drinking some mountain dew from Corey's bottle

"Hey guys!" She heard and she looked over and her breath caught

Roman, Dean and Seth came walking over

Seth avoided eye contact with her but Rydel watched him head to toe, he was in a white button up and black slacks, a black blazer thrown over it all with his hair up in a bun. He looked drool worthy

Seth glanced at the way the bottle froze halfway to Rydel's mouth as she saw them and Corey and Roman engaged in conversation

"We would be open by now, but boss lady over here doesn't open without all her staff," Corey teased, playfully elbowing her

"It's easier to run a shop when you got all hands on deck," she replied giving in to Corey's innocent teasing

"Better investments," Seth said and Rydel smiled and gestured to Seth while looking back to Corey

"See! He gets it!" She told him and Corey raised his hands in surrender

"Good morning!" They heard and the five turned to where Finn and Paige were walking up to them

"Now we can open! You guys coming in?" Corey asked, standing up from the planter, Seth pretended not to see the hopeful look on Rydel's face

"Not right now, we're heading to one of our client's places right now, he needs his office building rebuilt and we need our financial advisor and architect hands on at all times," Roman told them, pointing to Dean then Seth

"And our legal representative," Dean replied, playfully elbowing Roman's ribs making them all laugh

"Well maybe when you're heading back to the office, you guys can drop in," Rydel offered and they shrugged

"Don't be a stranger guys," she told them, Seth bit his lip, she said 'guys' but her blue eyes were staring at him with so much intensity

The three muskateers as Dean so oftenly referred to them as were making their way back to their office when Dean told them he wanted to go in to see Rydel at the coffee shop and Roman agreed since the restaurant Galina worked at was closed for the day

"Um, you guys go ahead," Seth said dismissively and Roman raised an eyebrow, Dean frowning

"Seth-"

"I'm just a little tired okay? It's nothing," he told them

"Rydel is sorry Seth, you two should talk, what-"

"Just leave it." Seth hissed

"Both of you." He finished and thankfully they did

"Do you want anything from the shop?" Dean asked and Seth sighed

"Regular and a muffin," he replied and they fist bumped before Dean and Roman walked into the shop and Seth passed, on his way to his office

He was disheartened, he was thinking bout Rydel, his glasses perched on his nose as he wrote down some building designs and developments he would like made on their new project when there was a knock on his door

"Yeah?" He called, not stopping what he was doing

The door opened and Dean walked in and gave him his coffee

"Read this one okay?" He told him with a small smile and Seth took it up and looked at it
