"max mayfield .. new girl .. rude .. red head"
you walked down the halls, bag slunged over your shoulder as you listened to the conversations going on in the hallways. "max mayfield? who is that?" you asked yourself "the girl who's riding her skateboard down the hallways is max.. she's so bad ass it's disgusting."
one kid interrupted your thoughts, "oh that came out loud." you mumbled to yourself. still walking you spotted a red head, a skateboard and a black jacket. "that must be her.. maybe i should say hi."
waiting until he reached her locker you walked up to her, tapping her on the shoulder. she turned around, confusion plastered on her face. "may i help you?" she let out, annoyance like venom stinging through your ears.
shrugging it of you questioned her, "you're max mayfield right?" she nodded giving you an odd look, "yeah. so?"
"so! i'm introducing myself, i'm y.n y.l.n, you seem pretty chill and cool so i want to be friends.. and you're pretty- wait.. stunning yeah." you sweetly smiled at her, holding your hand out.
she stared at it until she turned away and put her stuff inside of her locker, "yeah? well you're gonna have to do better than that aren't you?" max grumbled taking her bag off and unzipping it before grabbing her required items,
"well i heard some people talking about you.. they were saying some pretty rude things.. i just want to be there for you-" she cut you off and snapped her head towards you, "i can handle myself, i can take care of myself, and i can deal with it. i don't need someone i barely know to care for me like i'm a puppy."
you raised a brow at max and smiled, "cute." you said before walking off.
max stared at you as you walked away, you now running through her mind.
