Chapter 14

Emmaline and Kenzie rushed around their small London hotel room getting ready for a night out. Emmaline at in front of the vanity putting on her light makeup and Kenzie got dressed in their bathroom.
" Ugh, I'm so excited to finally get some down time with the boys." Emmaline says to her friend who stepped out of the bathroom fixing her dress.
"Me too. It's been awhile, since Brooklyn that we've just been able to have fun with them." The two girls finished getting ready and left for a pub down the street.

"So, let's get this straight." Dugan said.

"We barely got out of there alive, and you want us to go back?" Jones said.

"Pretty Much." Steve said sitting at a table.

"Sounds rather fun, actually." said Pinkerton.

"I'm in." Morita said with a burp.

Dernier spoke up in French. Jones answered him back in French, shook his hand and then turned to the rest of the table. "We're in."

"Hell, I'll always fight. But you got to do one thing for me." Dugan said taking a drink of his beer. "What's that?" Steve asked with a minor smirk. Dugan slammed his empty mug in the table, "Open a tab." The group laughed as Steve got up and went to the bar to get his new team more drinks. After the drinks Steve walks to the back of the bar to his childhood friend.

" See? I told you. They're all  idiots." Bucky says turning back around on his stool and taking a drink. Steve took up a seat next to him. " How about you? You ready to follow Captain America into the jaws of death?"

"Hell, no. That little guy from Brooklyn who was too dumb to run away from a fight, I'm following him. But you're keeping the outfit, right?" Steve looked back at a poster that was hung up behind the two, " you know what? It's kind of growing on me." Just then the friends noticed that the singing and loud talking had quieted the other room. Bucky and Steve looked to the doorway to find the two most important women in their lives. Emmaline wore a red, ¾ sleeved dress while Kenzie wore a dark navy blue dress with short sleeves. Bucky and Steve both stood up to greet them.

"Steve." Kenzie says as she walks up to him.

"Kenz" He says back.

Emmaline walked to Bucky. " Sarg."

"Doll." Bucky says with a smirk.

"I know we are here to have fun but Howard has done equipment for you to try. Tomorrow morning?" Kenzie said.

"Sounds good." Kenzie looked at the table with the team Steve put together. "I see your top squad is prepping for duty." Suddenly a drunken soldier stumbled up and stood between the girls looking between the two. "Either of you like dancing?" The soldier asked oblivious to the fact that Steve and Bucky were staring daggers at him. " We do, actually. We might even, when this is all over, go dancing again." Kenzie says still looking at Steve. "Then what are we waiting for." The soldier slurs. "The right partner." Emmaline says smiling a Bucky who was still glaring at the soldier. " 0800, fellas. Now let's get dancing." Emmaline says pulling Bucky toward the music as Kenzie did the same with Steve.
