Our Future (bakudeku)

Chapter 1

Deku's POV

   I finally finish a days worth of hero work I sit down to watch the news to make sure no villains try to do anything stupid but I start to slowly feel my eyes close. I wake up and realize I had been asleep for 5 hours I look at the news and see the headline ground zero down, where is deku. I quickly grab pull my hero suit on and run to the alley way the crime went down in. I arrive late to find the villain in police custody and Kacchan being rolled out on a stretcher with an oxygen mask on his face. I realized this was all my fake if I would've stayed awake Kacchan wouldn't be hurt. I see Uraraka and Todoroki speaking with the police, I rush over to get more information on exactly what happened. "Hey guys really sorry I was late, is Kacchan okay" I frantically state. He's going to be okay but we really needed you at this fight it got too close for comfort" Uraraka says concerned. " Uraraka is right, the league of villains is getting a lot stronger, anyways the villains tried kidnapping a kid from the store and Bakugo was around the area so he punched on the villain, we came shortly after but were late but it wasn't a big deal because the villain was a low level thug so we went home and bakugo was going to grab groceries from the store but on his way out he was ambushed and was badly injured and when we hear about what happened we rushed down there and fought the villains off but bakugo was was still badly hurt." Todoroki explained I'm so sorry I wasn't here I fell asleep, I know it's not a good excuse but I am not going to lie" I expressed. "I think you should apologize to bakugo instead of us" Uraraka said. I nod as I walk back to my house. I finally went to sleep after hours of restlessness and insomnia.

Bakugo's POV

   I slowly open my eyes to see IVs in my arm and an oxygen mask over my face I immediately rip it off. The nurse comes in and sees me trying to rip the IVs out of my arm and calls the calls the doctor. The doctor tell me to call down and puts the IVs back in my arm. " Bakugo you have a major injury, you have broken your left arm and right leg but you may have brain damage from severe contact with a wall." The doctor nervously says. "How long will I be in this shitty hospital" I yell angrily yell. "About 2 months" the doctor says backing away. " NO I NEED TO DO HERO WORK" I yell at the top of my voice. " You will in 2 months" the doctor replies. Before I can reply I see deku walk in with flowers with a get well card inside of them he drops the bouquet and runs over to give me a hug. I didn't hug him back but I didn't stop him from hugging me. He kept saying sorry choking tears back but soon after tears start to fall down his perfectly freckled cheek... wait eww that's deku I meant his ugly cheek. The doctor winks at me then leaves the room to give us privacy. "Just stop saying sorry deku" I say trying to sound annoyed. He grabs a tissue and wipes his watery eyes. "How l-long have I b-been asleep" I asked stuttering. Deku looks at me with nerves in his emerald eyes. I start to get very worried, but before I think once more deku pulls me into an embrace. Without realizing that tears are falling down my cheek. I quickly wipe my eyes and realize deku can't see me this weak and start to run into the restroom in my hospital room. I look at the calendar on my way running into the restroom and notice it's been 6 months since I vaguely remember fighting the league of villains. I stop there and without realizing I sink into the floor feeling like there is a million weights on my shoulders. Deku sits on the floor with me giving me a hug as I sob into his arms. Since U.A. we had been pretty close friends, we got over our differences  and became closer than expected. But I still used to playfully tease him when I get the chance. After a half an hour of ya staying in the same position I got up and went on the hospital bed and deku sat on the chair beside me. Shortly after the doctor came in and told me where I would stay in the hospital but in the
middle of our conversation the nurse bursts in and yells "Mrs.Todoroki is going into labor!"
