Chapter 8

Deku's POV

You never realize how much everything can change in the the span of a few minutes. Maybe if I was a second faster or would've let her sleep with me and kacchan everything would be different. Now I'm here. Stuck with kacchan and all these villains are in my front lawn with MY daughter. What could I have done to change this. I look at kacchan, he's panicking but of course he has a stone cold face. I need to do something but it feels like time has frozen. The only thing I can do is look for an exit so we can get more heroes and come back for OUR daughter. I run through each room looking for an escape route but sadly theres none, we were surrounded. With rage I shouted "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US", the whole league outside looks at me through the open door and then I hear Shigiraki start laughing at me then after all the villains started laughing. I could see on kacchans face a very angry expression. "HEY YOU DAMN EXTRAS STOP FUCKING LAUGHING AT HIM AND TELL US WHAT THE FUCK YOU WANT" Kacchan said very angrily. "Ok then ground zero, we already have what you want, this girl she's very special, her quirk, it could help all the villains out." Shigiraki said densely. "WELL SUCKS FOR YOU GUYS SHES OUR DAUGHTER AND WERE GONNA GET HER BACK" Bakugou yelled with pure rage. As I hear his words I hear OUR daughter. I can't tell if he's trying to confuse the league or maybe he actually wants to be apart of a family with us. I start to imagine kacchan... wait I never knew her name it just occurred to me now Uraraka never told me her name.. wow what a good dad I am.

I have to figure a way out to keep kacchan and our daughter safe. So I made the worst decision of my life and spoke up to the league with words I don't think any of them ever expected

"Take me instead"

Kacchan eyes gleamed with fear after I spoke those words then he turned to me with anger and said "NO WAY IN HELL YOUR DOING THAT"
Then Shigiraki spoke up "We can arrange for that to happen"
Kacchan then yelled "NOPE NOT HAPPENING SORRY EXTRAS"
"Kacchan I need to do this give her a hug for me okay"
My eyes started to water as i headed towards the villains. Kacchan tried so hard to keep me back but the league pushed him away. They threw my daughter into kacchans arms and walked off with pride on their faces. I gave my daughter a look of it's all going to be okay. I yelled at kacchan as they took me away
"KEEP HER SAFE WITH YOUR LIFE"
I saw a tear slide down his face but he nodded holding her close. I then was stabbed with a syringe and everything went blurry as I felt my conscious slowly leaving me.

Bakugo's POV

I sat their in shock with this little girl shaking in my arms I'm not used to affection so I just softly pat her head. As I stroke her head I notice she fell asleep. I pick her up gently being cautious not to wake her up and bring her upstairs to place her in deku's bed. When I'm done I hop into the shower. As I scrub shampoo into my blond hair I think about Deku and I running around in the sand playing heroes and when we would eat katsudon at Mrs. Midoriya's house. As all these memories start flowing back I feel tears start flowing out of my eyes and before I know it all I can see are my own tears blurring my vision . I slam my hand on the shower wall trying to stop crying. I try to choke back my tears so I don't wake up deku's daughter, but I can't help but make noise as I breakdown. I get out out of the shower dry off my body and tears. I get dressed  and looked in the mirror to see my red, tears eyes in my reflection. I walk out of the bathroom to see deku's daughter standing outside the bathroom
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you"
"I—ts o..kay m-my m-mommy a..l..ways cries in her room when m-my other mommy b-bring home what m-mommy calls her other f-friend"

I look at her and give her a huge hug, I'm not good at affection but i couldn't help myself she had to go through the same thing I did when my mom cheated on my dad.
"Its ok kacchan m-y m..ommy says s-ome people w-ill never love you as much as you do"
She then shines a broken smile.

That's when I knew I had to protect this girl from everything that dares to harm her.
