Rose's Pov

There was so much tension between Mal and Ben. It didn't even compared to how mad Jay and I were when we came back from the Isle. Mal had her arms crossed and she kept moving away anytime Ben came close to her. I noticed her eyes glare at Auradon and I knew she didn't want to be here anymore.

I couldn't blame her. If I was born on the Isle and came to Auradon with all their strict rules, I would be upset to be back too. The Isle might have been horrible, but it was a place where you could literally do whatever you want. It was a place where Mal could be herself without press down her throat I bet.

" I'll get these back to the gym." Lonnie said making Jay nod his head.

" Thanks."

I turned to Jay smiling knowing I had to get ready myself for my trip to Corona. I had forgotten that I was leaving tonight.

" I have to go. Got a trip to Corona." I said seeing he nodded, but with a sad look in his eyes.

I wanted to ask him about it, but decided not to knowing it wasn't my business. He could be sad over multiple reason. We did just leave the Isle, his home. All the girls were racing around ready for the Cotillion as if they never been to an event before. It was always the same. Getting your hair done, plucking those eyebrows, getting the nails done. I'm surprised no one got tired of it yet, but who was I to judge. I went to one event only for Ben and hated it because I didn't have a date or friends.

" Come on ! We're gonna be late to our mani pedi's !" A girl yelled quickly walking with her friends.

I laughed and rolled my eyes knowing I was going to hear it every year and every event. I felt my phone buzz and looked to see it was Jay, but before I could even answer, I ran into someone.

" Oh my b-" I started looking up only to see it was Ethan with the stupid smirk on his face. I sighed loudly." God."

" Well if it isn't the rose to my bush."

" It better be a thorn bush." I sassed walking away, but I heard his footsteps behind me.

" So what color you wearing to the Cotillion? Pink? Purple?"

" I'm not going." I answered hearing him laugh and quickly jog in front of me to stop me from walking.

I swear, I never met someone so annoying in my whole life. Need to remind you, I see Chad Charming everyday.

" You're not going because you don't have a date?" He laughed before straightening his clothes." Well, come with me and that problem will be over."

I laughed lightly before erupting in a fit of laughter." No way am I going with you." I confirmed still laughing." I don't feel like hearing about you the whole Cotillion. You're obsessed with yourself way too much."

" Well, what's wrong with that ?"

I laughed before turning and singing." Baby, you got something special. Your body is a work of art." I sang seeing he nodded and began to pose. I rolled my eyes at his actions." But we got a little issue. I feel your chest, but I can't find your heart."
