Third Person Pov

" All the ladies in the house. Put your hands up in the air. All the fellas in the place. Put your hands up in the air. Let me see you break it down. Let me see you break it down." The Dj played bumping to the music and seeing everyone dance to it.

Jay was nervous looking around and seeing Rose was no where to be seen. He thought she would be here by now, but it was like she had already gone off to Corona ditching their date.

Doug saw Jay nervous and came over handing him some soda." You okay, man ?" He asked.

" Yeah, just waiting for Rose." Jay said before nervously swallowing." She'll be here."

Doug laughed." Don't be nervous. She's here." He explained seeing Jay frowned." Evie's with her. She wanted to make sure Rose looked amazing, so she's with her. Actually." Doug said pointing to the stairs." There's Evie right now."

Jay turned seeing Evie come from the top and smile to the people, but when she looked next to her, she groaned.

" Rose come on." Evie laughed." The party already started."

" What if I make a fool of myself ?"

Evie shook her head and held her hand out for Rose." You could never. Now come on. Your date is waiting." Evie teased.

Rose took a deep breath before coming into view and taking Jay's breath away. She was always beautiful, but it was something about the way she wore the dress and had a crown on her head that made his heart skip a beat. Rose caught his eyes and blushed seeing she left his mouth a bit wide open. Evie began to walk down and soon, Rose followed still feeling Jay's eyes burn into her. She even heard multiple gasp and turned seeing some people shocked to even see her.Rose ignored it and walked over to Jay looking up to see he was still awestruck.

" Hi."

" Hi." He simply said before Evie kicked him in the back of the knee bringing him back to the universe." Rose you look...breathtaking."

" Really ?"

" I thought it was impossible for you to get more beautiful, but you proved me very wrong." He flirted causing her cheeks to heat up a bit.

" Rose ?" She heard and turned seeing it was Ethan.

" Oh god." She groaned.

" You said you weren't coming ? Wait." He paused before smiling." You came here for me didn't you. I knew it !"

" What ?"

" You said you weren't coming, but you're here meaning you want to be my date." He said getting the whole message wrong and causing Rose to roll her eyes.

" Ethan, get over yourself! I'm not here for you. I have a date of my own!"

" Really?" He asked getting a bit angry." Who?"

" Jay." She answered looping her arm with his.

Ethan was baffled and took a double take when seeing them." Jay ? Why Jay ?"

" Because Jay is not a self coincidence jerk. He cares about people other than himself." Rose snapped not seeing Jay was blushing and smiling at her words." Now if you'll excuse us, my date and I are going to have a good time." She said turning around and leaving Ethan to stop away in a fit.
