Summary: 18 years after the tragic unsolved assassination of almost the entire royal family, a lead finally surfaces in the form of junior year, academic superstar, y/n l/n. Lusting for the case's red stamp of closed, the Ninja decide the only way to finally seal the deal is to get one of their own on the inside. Unwillingly, Lloyd Garmadon a.k.a The Green Ninja, is appointed and forces himself to befriend the scholastic student.
The Iridescent already have their eye on their most trigger-happy assassin for accidentally exposing the organisation enough to make them persons of interest for the 15/5 assassination. Determined to redeem her lost desirability, y/n l/n works her way back up to top of the Nine. Juggling her position as academic excellence, other activity and her newly kindled friendship with Lloyd, she thinks she has it all under control...
In the midst of the mystery, Lloyd wills himself to convinced they can erase y/n as a threat...that of course is a twisted bias. I mean, what would you do if the girl you love killed for a thrill?

Skewer the blade right through the middle of the heart - yes they'll bleed out, but give it about thirty and they'll render lifeless.
You thought with ease, precision, like it was a day to day job - oh wait, it was. You pulled the blade out of the victim's left breast and slid it through the holder that was firmly strapped to your back. You scoffed as the blood oozed from their lips, willing yourself to ignore their cries of mercy.
"Please, ple-" Choking on their own fluids, their life was drawing to a close.
Tilting your head in pity, you let out a sigh as you slid the face paint palette from your pocket. Fingers dabbed in deep, rich cerulean paint, you smeared it next to the now lifeless body. A small smile grew at the corner of your lips as you admired your handiwork.
"Right," You stood up, tucking away the palette and retrieving your dated mobile phone. Three clicks on the flip keyboard and it was showtime.
"911, what's your emergency?"
"Oh my God, oh my God," Faux sobs echoed throughout the rundown alleyway that managed to repeat back every cry you made.
"M'am are you okay?"
"No...no...oh my God," You covered your mouth with your blood and blue coated fingers and the familiar copper scent made you want to hurl. "Someone's been murdered, fuck."
"M'am can you tell me where you are?"
"Alley way on Fifth Avenue..."
"Alright, the ambulance are on their way."
"Oh...no please send the police too..." The cruel smile was forming at your lips, as you wiped your dirty, murderous hands on your tights. Scraping the hard red crust from your fingers, your tone faltered momentarily, just for dramatic effect.
"I think it was the Iridescent...I think it was Azure."
