Weightless

Jack's pov:

I watched as she spoke with her friend, the guys were talking to me but I wasn't listening. All I could think about was her, there was something about her that made me feel like I needed her. She caught me looking a few times but just smiled, I couldn't help but smile back. The 5sos boys walked over and started talking to us and soon Shannon and her friend Tia, I believe she said her name was, joined us.

I observed as everyone conversations with each other noticing the way Calum looks at Tia, he definitely likes her I thought, you can tell by the way he looks at her.
God I wonder if it's obvious that I like shannon.

I switched my gaze back to Shannon watching as she spoke to Rian. I smiled widely as I noticed her beanie, it had the future hearts logo on it, that means she already knew who we were. When Rian got pulled away by our manager I took my chance to talk to her. I didn't know why I was nervous but my hands started to shake slightly, "hey" I said as I decided to shove my hands in my pockets.
"hey" she replied, I swear I saw a light shade of pink tint her cheeks. 
"I like your beanie" I told her smiling. Her cheeks went red which made me laugh and smile even more.
"T-thanks" she stuttered bringing her hand up to her beanie, adjusting it slightly. I watched her in awe as she looked at the floor shuffling her feet. "So you already knew who we were?" I ask making her look at me.
"Yeah, but I didn't want to freak any of you out with ya know, the whole fan stuff so I tried pretending that I didn't know you" she told me finally looking into my eyes. I nodded, "it's ok, I understand why you didn't say anything" I stared into her eyes noticing the little flecks of brown that circled the rest of her green iris'.

"um wheres the restroom?" I ask.
"come on, i'll show you" she replied smiling at me before turning around and walking toward the house. There where too many people and I almost lost Shannon until she grabbed my hand pulling me through the crowd. I felt my cheeks get hot and I knew they had a tint of pink on them, hopefully she didn't notice.

She pulled me through the groups of people that surrounded the lounge.

We made it to the stairs and Shannon let go of my hand. I frowned at the loss of contact but I quickly covered it up with a smile. Shannon walked me up the stairs and showed me the restroom, I smiled at her and said thank you, she smiled back and started to walk down the stairs. "um.. could you wait for me, I don't want to get lost" I said scrathcing the back of my neck.
"sure" she replied.
