You were one of Scott's best friends growing up. You and him done everything together. When you found out he went to prison you were shocked because as a kid he was always so good and sweet. So you decided to take a vacation down to San Francisco to surprise your best friend who was on house arrest. You texted his daughter Cassie who you became close with when you last visited him in jail.

You: Cassie I'm bording the plane now. Please don't tell your dad im coming. I want it to be a surprise.

Cassie: ok y/n. You got it. My dad won't stop asking if I've herd anything from you in the past year.

You: how's he doing. You know on house arrest?

Cassie: he hates it but he only has a few months to go before he gets off of it.

You: good. Well I will text you when I'm off the plane. Getting ready to take off.

Cassie: ok.

Then it was time for take off. After 3 hour flight you arrived at the San Francisco airport. Catching a cab to Scott's house where him and Cassie are.

You: Cassie I'm almost there tell your dad you have a surprise for him when I knock.

Cassie: ok y/n he will he so shocked.

You: thanks Cass. I owe you one.

You arrived at Scott's place. You were nervous seeing your best friend after these years. "Cassie can you see who's at the door?" You herd Scott say. "Sure dad." She walked over to the door and there you were. "dad come quick!" Cassie yelled. "Cassie everything ok?!" Scott yelled as he ran. "Hello Scott." You said smiling like it was Christmas morning. "Oh my god. Y/n? What are you doing here?" He asked.

You went up to hug him and he gave you a bear hug. "I came to see you Scott. Me and Cassie have been planning this." You told him "you knew?" Scott looked at his daughter. "Yeah. I told you he would be surprised y/n." He came closer to you and told you "y/n there is one thing I gotta tell you." He said looking into your (e/c) Eyes. "What is it Scott?" You asked. He leaned forward and pressed his lips against yours and you wrapped your arms around his. "That." "What was that Scott?" "Well for the longest time y/n I wanted to tell you I love you and I couldn't think. So that was the best way I could tell you." He said. "Oh Scott I love you to!" You told him. You both looked at Cassie and said "thank you." She just smiled saying "finally maybe he will shut up now." You all had a good laugh and your best friend was now yours.
