Chapter 3

"Make a wish, Zoe!"

Zoe woke up at exactly 6:05.

She looked at her calendar.

'December 24th!'

Zoe nearly jumped off the best of excitement.

It was her birthday!

She ran to her Corbyn shared room with Jonah.

Zoe ran to Corbyn bed and started jumping on it.

"What happened?" He asked.

"Uncle Corbyn! Today's my birthday!" Said the excited voice of Zoe.

"What? It's not your birthday!" He jokes pulling Zoe down.

"Yes it is!" She giggled.

"Okay well go wake your other uncles up! Start with uncle Jonah!"

"First I'm going to make him some coffee because then he gets grumpy!" Zoe giggled.

She slowly walked down the stairs not wanted to wake anyone up.

She had a good idea of waking them up.

She made her Uncle Jonah coffee and went up to his and her daddy's room.

She put the coffee on his night stand and started poking his face.

"Uncle Jonah!" She whispered, "Uncle Jonah!" She repeated.

"Uncle Jonah!" She yelled giggling.

He jumped up about 100000 feet in the air.

"I made you this!" She said innocently handing him the Blue mug.

"Awh! Thanks Zo!" He said.

She walked out of the room.

Zoe walked into Zach and Jack's room.

She got on her dads bed and pushed him off.

"Wakey, Wakey, Daddy!" She said giggling.

"I should be glad I was already awake!" Said Jack.

"Yep!" She said running out of the room to her and Daniels shared room.

She got on the bed and poked him several times. The started jumping on the bed. THEN, she rolled him off.

'Dang what will wake my uncle!?' Zoe thought.

She smirked and ran into her side of the room and into her bathroom.

She grabbed her beach bucket and filled it with icey cold water and put some ice in it.

She went to her uncle and dumped it on him.

"AGHHH!" He screamed.

Zoe ran away giggling and locking the door to her side of the room.

She and Daniel had the BEST room. There was a wall in the middle of it separating it, but the door to get out was on her side.

So they technically had their own rooms but with only door for both of them.

"Open this door!" He said banging on it.

"You can unlock it from your side too ya know!" She yelled running to the closet. She ran to the second floor of it (yeah it was two story's) and hid behind all her dresses.

Daniel groaned and heard the door close to his side.

"He's gone!" Zoe said.

Zoe got dressed in a long sleeved black shirt; it had two stripes at each elbow of it, the bottom was knotted and the back said 1/5 and her last name 'Herron', then she wore plain black leggings and her black uggs.

She put her hair in a high ponytail and put a black scrunchie in her hair.

She grabbed her pastel black north face and walked down the stairs of the closet.

She brushed her teeth and went downstairs.

"Happy birthday babygirl!" Said her Zach picking her up.

"I am eight today!" She said.

It had been three years since her dad adopted her.

Three years of memory's and laughter had filled the house.

Three whole years Zoe Lily Herron, has felt loved by a real family.

She ate her pancakes.

"What are we doing today?" Asked Zoe.

"Well we are going to a lot of fun places!" Said Zach.

"Where?" She asked.

"Now that's a suprise!" They all said.

Zoe pouted and put on her north face.

Daniel put her on his back and they left.

First off they went to Funplex for two hours.

Then they went to Rockin' Jump.

The last place was probably the most fun because it was a birthday party at Kids Rule Parties.

She had a blast.

The cake was laid in from of her.

"Make a wish, Zoe!" Whispered her best friend, Christopher Malfoy said.

'I wish, to live happy forever' She wished. She blew on the candles and everyone cheered.

The cake was a chocolate cake with brownies and sprinkles and a ton of CHOCOLATE!

She got the first slice plus a brownie with sprinkles.

The rest of the night was a blast, her Dad and Uncles put her on the spot and made her preform her new solo she had gotten.

"Wow!" Breathed Chris.

Everyone was speachless.

'I'm not THAT good, yeah I have a few titles and won a few competitions, I never won a national title, but I have a lot of titles!' Zoe thought.

The night finished and Zach carried his sleeping daughter to his bed.

"Goodnight Baby!" He Whispered kissing her forehead.

"Goodnight daddy!" She said turning his way, still sleeping.

She huddled close to his chest as she fell asleep.
