I only had one day to go, till I finally would have gotten rid of this baby.
After 2 weeks of crying and crying, I still never heard a word from Jasper. I tried calling but I guess he changed his number because of the dial tone. I'd spend so much time with Karter, I think he'd gotten fed up because he asked to go to his dad's. So, I was left here at home alone. I'd watched all my catch-ups and was feeling so fed up of the television, I'd even read all my left-over pages on the magazines I'd got. I had been left, once again to my own thoughts. I decided maybe a walk and fresh air will do me well. So, getting myself ready, I headed for the door.
I will go wherever my feet take me.
Somehow, I ended up where I'd first meet Jasper. I sat in the same place where he gave me a bottle of water. Then drifted into a daze, a tear rolled down my eyes I couldn't believe it. The last words ran through my head, that he told me. This place held so many memories, good ones that turned bad. I placed one hand on my stomach, and the other on the spot where he sat.
"Oh Jasper, I need you as much as I needed you that day! we both need you." I whispered.
I sat there for a moment waiting to see if he would turn up. Wishing he would, before I knew it, the sun was starting to set in. I stood up and walked back home.
Walking to my door, I could see a matured lady standing there. I felt like I'd seen her before, her features were so outstanding.
"Hi, can I help you?" I said to her.
"Yes! I was wondering if you knew Venus. I have this letter for her, from my son Jasper she might want to read." The lady replied, ever so softly. When I looked deeply at her face, I saw Jasper.
"I'm Venus," I said.
She then stared at me, looking at my features, then broke out a smiled at me.
"I've heard so much about you, and your little one." She had a half-smile on her face.
"We really should go in, there is something I need to tell you; as well as giving you this letter." She said her voice sounding serious.
"Yeah sorry, where are my manners. Come in." I opened the door, she followed behind. She looked at my walls, seeing all my pictures.
"Is that your little one?" She asked pointing at one picture.
I looked back and nodded my head. We got into the living room and she sat on the single sofa, I stood there for a moment.
"Would you like a cup of tea?" I asked her.
"Oh, yes please, a touch of milk, no sugar." She replied.
Going into the kitchen I went in and popped the kettle on. I was looking down and my hands were shaking.
Why was she here, what letter did she have to give me, did Jasper want me to have the baby and then keep the baby.
So many thoughts ran through my head. I made the teas and walked into the living room; I placed the teas on the coffee table and sat down opposite her, Her eyes were wandering around.
"You have a lovely home." She said looking at me.
"Thank you," I replied.
"You're a lot more beautiful, then I imaged you to be." She said I smiled not knowing if that was a compliment or insult.
