Venus

The chat

Opening up my eyes. I rubbed them then jumped out my bed running into kraters room. Then realising he wasn't home. Wow, I forgot what had happened yesterday. I went downstairs making myself a coffee. Oh, it tasted so nice. My phone started to ring again looking at it I saw it was Destiny my younger sister. I picked up the phone. 

"Venus I tried calling and texting you yesterday. When are you coming around to do that favour for me, I really need it done by the end of the week... I did tell you th...." 

Before I let her finish what I knew she was going to say I said quickly. 

"Destiny I was at the hospital, I passed out on the way to picking up Karter. By the time I got home, I saw all the messages but never had it in me to reply to...." Before I could finish she jumped in, this was something that she tended to do a lot.

"You were in the hospital? Did you pass out? What the hell why didn't you call us? I was worried about you when you never answered! I was then angry because you never answered! where is Karter?" My brain was still fuzzy after all what happen so I just said ok, yes, no and school.

I think she could tell I wasn't in the mood to talk about it because she then said. 

"I can get Karter and drop him off to you after school so you can rest. Then I can give you the paper to sign for me. If that's alright with you, saving you having to come to mine." 

She always does this somehow makes it seem like she's helping me out but really shes helping herself out. 

"Okay then, that's fine," I replied. 

I felt like shes just planned my day out for me, and I wasn't going to argue with her about it. "Great, catch you later." she laughed down the phone. 

Once the phone went down, all I wanted to do was watch some movies. Sitting down on the sofa just as I was about to turn on my smart box, I heard my phone ring again. I bet you, it is destiny again reminding me of something she forgot to say in our last conversation.

INCOMING CALL JASPER... 

Omg with the phone call I just had with destiny I totally forgot all about Jasper. He really did call me in the morning at 10:30 am. Picking up the phone. 

"Hello sweetheart, how are you feeling today?" He said beaming down the phone. 

Wait did he just call me sweetheart... 

"Hello... Jasper? yeah, I'm fine. feeling a lot better. thanks again." Before I could finish my sentence he jumped in and said. 

"Stop thanking me hun, I'm happy to hear you are doing alright this morning. I don't like to go on my words. I did say I would call you, I'm a man of my words..." I paused I didn't know what to say. a man of his words. 

"Hi, Venus are you still there?" He said. 

"Yeah, yeah I'm here sorry. You got me off guard when you said... Man, of my words." I said puzzled. 

What was he actually was trying to say to me? in this whole conversation. 

"Well it's not every day, you get a beautiful lady fall at your feet now is it," He replied back no tone to his voice, sounding so serious. 

"Beautiful!" I bleated back. 

"What you don't think you are beautiful? Or are you a female that tends to live in the past of what her ex-partner Andy or partners have done to you, or maybe andy is the reason?" 

I didn't really understand how or where this conversation was going. He brought Andy's name up. thanks a lot! I actually forgot all about the picture, now all the feelings came flooding back to me again.
